I have the same issue, not able to customise raiders or to edit the ship
this sucks
PS4 pro
Hi, I am no longer able to interact with the shipyard, barracks and hunter vendors in my settlement. My settlement is level 4 or 5 and since I completed the beserker quest I am no longer able to interact with shipyard, barracks and hunter npcs. As many people have reported in the forum this likely happened after having completed the beserker quest.
The npcs are there but no interaction is possible (the triangle button icon does not show up).
I trust in a prompt fix as this is very annoying as I am not able to enjoy the game experience as I would like to (and I paid for).
Thanks
@kinbumi Same exact issue here, can not speak to shipyard, barrack and male hunter
a fix would be welcome
@Ubi-Woofer
I apologise if my colleague requesting a video has caused you any discomfort or frustrated you further. Having reviewed the contents of your case as they were prior, it doesn't appear that a link to this thread had been provided, so they have requested this not knowing you had already done so here in this thread. Rest assured as ever that we're doing what we can to get this looked into.
Can you blame me?
I can not play the game (as intended) since 20 days today. On top of this settlement bug I have issues also with quests, which caused me stopping playing hoping for a quick patch.
And yesterday, after I submitted the link to the video, they answered me "if you have not completed our troubleshooting steps, please check them as this may resolve the issue"
Come on, this is ridiculous.
@chriskean86
I stopped playing last Sunday to avoid too much progress without those features (barracks, shipyard etc and the randvi taken for granted quest amongst all).
I am now in the position of not knowing if I will go back playing this game, including any other ubisoft games, after this experience, which was a disgrace for them.
Waiting for Cyberpunk to be released.
@smithy10gb
@Ubi-Woofer
By the way, I am getting the same server message as well, and I believe the interaction with NPCs may have stopped working either after I recruited a 3rd player raider or sm1 else recruited mine.
This could point in the direction of a server issue on Ubisoft side
@dabpanda
Same exact problem here (ps4) dialogue at map showed up once then disappeared...this is super frustrating added to the settlement bug I have (not able to interact with barrack/shipyard npcs)
We need a patch, and soon
Made my own thread already but will post again here: I finished the "Taken for Granted" quest, told her "Now is not the time", went back to the settlement, saw the follow up dialogue option "Lets talk about us" once, didn't take it because I wanted to wait and never saw it again after restarting the game. Don't wanna keep playing like this!
Same + I can not interact with 3/4 of the settlement NPC (including shipyard and barracks, meaning I can not use the customisations I PAID for with the ultimate edition)
@berkebs more and more posts like this (I am having the same issue with shipyard, barracks and hunter) - did it happen after you completed the beserker quest?
After 17 days I received an answer to my ticket - they ask me for a video (which by the way I have uploaded in this post) when I have submitted a savefile.
This makes me x times madder: power on your damn PS4 upload my savefile and have fun not interacting with the NPCs and shooting a video.
Really this is absurd. Any other company in any other business would be bankrupt now with this kind of customer understnding, service and care.
Hello there!
@Zer0524 and @KingRogers23 - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I'm sorry for any disappointment that has been caused. I have reached out to the development team for an update on the investigation, and they are still take a closer look at "Taken for Granted" disappearing from the quest log.
Please note that we are unable to share unconfirmed details from the investigations, such as details regarding fixes or providing ETAs when there are none available. Rest assured once we have any new information to share from the investigation, we will let you all know within this thread and within the News & Announcements forum.
Thank you![]()
I can't believe my eyes - I reported this issue on Nov 16, I come back now to check what happened since and all i see is "the dev team is taking a closer look at the issue".
This is ridiculous.
The Titanic sank with more dignity.
November 13 to January 13 - still nothing.
All this is so sad.
Shame on you.
@ubi-woofer nothing wrong with how you have managed this and other posts on bugs, but I feel very close to @smithy10GB position as we were amongst the first unlucky to have this bug on Nov 12, straight after the game was released
It is now Dec 24, 1 month and a half has passed and all we get is vague reassurances that in a future patch, the matter is priority, we appreciate the frustration, devs are working hard to look into it etc.
Fact is that nothing has been done on the dev side, we could not play the game as intended and this is an extremely faulty product which has, by the way, very negatively impacted your company's reputation at the eyes of many customers/players.
It is shameful that it took almost 30 days to just acknowledge the issue on the dev side, and I would blindly bet they started working on it not earlier that 15/20 days ago.
The fact that we have no timeline whatsoever only adds more shame on Ubisoft and uncertainty to us.
@y2john84
Glad to know it, however I am really enjoying Cyberpunk to be honest .... and so far no (major) bugs, just some minor polishing issues.
@eung232
"And for real no need to be rude with player support, those guys are not responsible. You guys are just acting like the Karens of video games at this point."
Despite:
I have never been rude to anyone.
So before posting crap go up and read my thank you messages to woofer for trying to take care of the issue.
The fact that the dev team is uncapable or unwilling to solve this and the other issues of this game has nothing to do with this forum mods or a crappy customer support which asks you to "update your PS software which might resolve the issue".
The frustration amongst players is great and increasing and, in my view, completely justified.
Add to this the dev inability to patch their errors quickly, the total lack of a clear communication on timelines to resolve those issues and you can get your answers.
@eung232
Honestly I don't care anymore - threw this game in the bin.
Tomorrow is the 10th and will be the day I say farewell (for good) to Ubisoft and welcome to Cyberpunk.

So the inability to interact with NPCs is not even included in the issues to be addressed in the next patch.
Is this confirmed as of November 30?

I did also build the barracks first (and I could interact at the beginning with the npc) and the shipyard after (I was NEVER able to speak with the npc there).
