The Developers who dreamed up this Mastery Challenge have to themselves do some of the challenges. Make sure you make a video of your game play. You designed them, lets see if you can complete them. Oh I got one gold medal to get the Skadi's AX. Now I am done with the challenges. Some of them are so far left field to complete they are a waste of time. Oh and the rewards available from the Mastery vendor are not worth the time and trouble either.
UBISOFT has completely got away form the Viking theme of this game with the latest series of Armor sets. The the ones scheduled on the horizon are even worse. One coming out with a rifle and bayonet, Swat shield. Well at least one thing is for sure, I won't be spending any money on their Armor Sets.
I use to think the Zenimax game Elder Scrolls Online had the worst player support, but Ubisoft now holds first place in that department. The last update patch was December 15th. Since then numerous bugs some game breaking have been reported. If there has been a response by Ubisoft to any of the bugs reported it was to say they are investigating or have provided a walk around that in some cases did not even work. There has to my knowledge been no announcement of an upcoming patch to address many of the issues reported nor have they even tried to implement any hot fixes. That is pretty sad. If I was part of the upper management of Ubisoft I would be totally embarrassed and be seeking answers from my developers and game support personnel. Seems that is not the case. Ubisoft's reputation is in question here and is getting severely damaged. They better wake up.
At one of the outposts in the New River Raids I got stuck in a wall and could not get out. I had to exit the game because you cannot save your game or fast travel to your Longboat. I lost all my progress in that Raid. I understand the River Raids are a hostile environment however because of the possibility of getting stuck which does happen in this game, fast travel should be allowed to the Longboat. At least then you can get out of the problem and your progress is not lost. Getting stuck is not a player error. It is a game bug.
UBisoft I have a simple question. How hard is it to test your updates before making them go live on all platforms. You people cause more problems than are necessary and testing updates would solve a good majority of them. Your inability or just don't care to test updated content before it goes live shows complete negligence on your part.
This is a game breaking bug. Reported over and over for months. Yet instead of doing a Hot Fix you are waiting for the title update to finally be released on Feb 22 to fix it. What kind of pathetic support is that? Why do players have to wait for you A holes to fix things especially game breaking bugs. Ubisoft, [censored] off.
@garbo3 I don't think Ubisoft tests their new content before releasing it and I think that is the problem. However, I could be wrong.
It is caused by a conflict with the new Heidrun Slam skill. If you have that active, disable it and Gallop, Sprint/ Lunge will work. It has been reported in another thread.
Would be nice if Eivor had a storage chest located in his Long House to store all the unused weapons, runes and armor sets that character is not using. All the items that currently clutter up the character inventory.
@Ubi-Verse Made a video however when trying to upload/attach a error message appears stating I do not have permission to do that action. If you can advise where I can send the video I will.
@MG-Morgan Hopefully as you have stated this will fix the AC Crash-Ella issue many players are experiencing. I finished Ragnarok after several annoying crashes and that completed all the AC Valhalla content to include all the final short chapters . I think the problem is with UBISOFTS latest patch. The amount of time this game has been out and the amount of problems that still exist is totally unsatisfactory. When I can play other games on maximum graphic settings without having to change Windows Settings or my NVIDIA Control Panel settings and experience no crashes tells me the problem is with AC Valhalla so I was not about to change anything to accommodate this game. I left this game in June to play Dark Souls III followed by Elden Ring and returned to AC Valhalla this month to finish the game. I never crashed once playing on Maximum Graphics Settings for both Dark Souls III or Elden Ring. I hope you enjoy AC Valhalla there is a lot of content to go through to finish the game and I hope it gives you a bug free and crash free experience.
@Ubi-Keo No I do not have a controller connected when trying to change the settings. I use the keyboard and mouse.
I am changing the Control Settings (Customize Controls) Keyboard commands that are conflicting with each other. The two are Alternate Shoot which is assigned the R key and Acquire Power which is also assigned the R key. I can make the change and assign a different key to either of the two commands in conflict but it is not permanent since the apply button after making the changes is grayed out. The change will be effective during the current session of the game. Once I log out of the game and then log back in I have to make the changes all over again.
What I have described above holds true for trying to make changes permanent in any of the other options menus since I tried experimenting to see if the problem only existed with trying to change the Customize Control area of the Control Settings. The changes will be in effect during the current session of the game. Once I log out and log back in I have to make the changes I made over again. The Apply Button is always grayed out to make the changes permanent.
I am using the UBISoft Connect Version
Hope that helps.
Also my game is launched with administrator rights.
This game crashes way to much. Been away from AC Valhalla since June playing Elden Ring. Did three complete play throughs of that game with not one single crash. Came back to this game to finish Ragnarok and constant intermittent crashes. Can go one to two hours with no crash. Then another time 10 minutes and a crash, 30 minutes and a crash. Never know when it is going to happen. Using a GeForce GTX 1070 video card with the latest drivers. It is not fun to play a game that crashes as much as this one does.
When I make any changes to my controls (Key Board Commands) the option to apply those changes is grayed out. Same holds true for graphics, sounds or any other menu options. What is the story here. Is it a bug or what.
The only thing you need your raiding crew for is to open locked doors and storage chests. I have played thru the River Raids three times and cleared all areas to include the Bosses solo. You can upgrade your ship's storage capacity so you can carry more cargo before having to return to the settlement. I never bothered recruiting higher level Jomsvikings because I never used them on raids until the end to like I said open storage chests and open locked doors. Another tip, don't worry about the villages that give out health chests unless you plan on using your crew to raid. Don't need them. You will be able to acquire plenty of health in the other areas of the river raids
All it takes is a Ubisoft employee to monitor the span postings, delete them and delete the account of the person who posted the spam. If the person returns with a new account and posts span rinse and repeat the removal and delete the account. I been on a lot of game forums and never have I seen anything like this. Problem is Ubisoft does not care just like they don't care about AC Valhalla.
@skauron Their game is a disaster and so are their forums. Problem is they don't care. Counted over 7 pages of spam not even related to AC Valhalla. AlI they need is a person to look at who is posting the spam and block their account. If they want to keep on posting, Ubisoft just blocks the new account.
Sure did not take long for the DLC to go on sale. 25% off. Was $39.99 USD now $29.99 USD.Those that paid the full price should of waited. Actually if folks wait a little longer might see 35 to 50% off never know. Offer ends April 21st 9am UTC.
@tolkyyn Agreed. I still have not purchased the Ragnarok expansion and don't have any plans to do so until it goes on sale for at least 30 to 40% off the regular price.
