Can't talk to valka at all. I just got to her hut and she's doing whatever with some bird at her table but there is no dialogue option to engage her. Is this a bug?

@chuzzlewitts yeah same I actually got the game yesterday, weird that ubi sent them so early. I am running version 1.02. I also tried loading a previous save and it didn't work for me either. I guess we'll have to wait for them to fix it or get back to us.

@pirewit who said? That is what I did when 1.0.2 broke my game play and I've been progressing through the story on 1.0.0 without any issues other than 1.0.0 has no basically no online service. I'm waiting for them to fix the issue and then I can update to the latest software so I can get my pre-order missions and gold edition DLC, but I'm OK waiting for that. I'm not OK waiting to continue the story.

@pirewit I guess what I forgot to mention is that reinstalling 1.0.0 will make your 1.0.2 save not work so you'd have to restart the entire game which I did.

@krughal yeah the 1.0. 2 update broke that quest. If you need to proceed now just reinstall the game and forego installing the update and it'll work well. But 1.0 has basically non existent online connectivity (from my experience).

@funbagsofsatan yeah I ended up resintalling and restarting and never upgrading to 1.0.2 and it seems to be going fairly well other than online connectivity which I don't really need right now. Hopefully ubisoft pulls back 1.0.2 until they fix the issue.

@beardedchickens be careful though because the 1.0.2 patch broke the ps4 game (can't progress after a certain point) not sure if the Xbox patch has the same issue or not

@brmptn-ste I don't know for sure, but I suspect what ended up happening was that they started shipping out the disk version a little early with the expectation that the games would arrive the day of release or so but some of the disks got to people before release day. I'm not a youtuber and I got my copy yesterday. Did you order the digital edition?

@chuzzlewitts I read some more and it seems we shouldnt be playing until release day anyway, I didn't realize that, so I'll just pause here and wait until Tuesday, hopefully it gets resolved by then. Back to witcher 3
