Same issue with my Sony KD-XF9005. Ubi must either assume everyone has a VRR TV or forgot the V-Sync toggle
Finding it incredible that we are being asked to provide proof of this happening. Surely Ubisoft can get a TV that doesn't have VRR? How can this problem, which is clearly not a fluke incident, apparently go missed during development?
Terrible forum software so will repeat it here since I can't find my last post....
Had notifications that there have been updates to the official 'Known Issues' thread but nothing added regarding the screen tearing.
Since we've now seen posts from the community managers stating that the developers have acknowledged that this is a problem, how about updating the official issues thread?
Any acknowledgement from Ubisoft yet?
Since Ubisoft haven't bothered to even acknowledge this issue I will have to do what others have said and I previously ignored; I will vote with my wallet and not purchase future Ubisoft games if this problem isn't resolved.
Same issue with Series X
Had notifications that there have been updates to the official 'Known Issues' thread but nothing added regarding the screen tearing. Ubi be Ubi...
@lipsman74 I would love for it to be fixed but I've a gut feeling that some developers might just shovel anything out the door and expect all consumers to have a VRR or similar compatible display. Still no update on the official issues post...
Shame we still have no update from the development team.
@ubikoality Thanks for the update. I'd recommend that this is also posted in the other thread (Series X|S) so that it is more visible.
i made a support ticket for this and they reply to reset my console or activate vrr
Just as I feared.
Shame we still have no update from the development team.
