There is a nudity filter in the options and I just finished a quest called

So to what extent is the nudity in AC Valhalla because that nudity filter isn't working (I think) 🤭

Origins had nudity (Female NPCs walking around topless)

Odyssey didn't

Lots of dismemberment going on in AC Valhalla, so that filter works 🤭

I don't agree either.
While I did enjoy Odyssey and Kassandra, it suffered from bloat and insane repetition (like Origins)

Valhalla changed a lot of the insane repetition in the way the quests were designed, and while there were still a lot of uninspired activities with the flying papers, artifacts, and curse zones, I think the side quests were short and sweet, and often times quite silly, and some were quite funny (I won't ever forget The Rekindling).

Eivor was well written I like her, and I must say that I really liked how they handled Modern Day.

I spent over 250 hours on it (I got the platinum), and only have the fish and hunting lists to complete which will take a long time, and look forward to the DLC.

So on installing the patch I tried to travel from Ravensthorpe to Euviscire and but instead Eivor was still stuck (literally) in Ravensthorpe with the textures half-loaded

I tried to fast travel to other areas but the same happens

@sofajockey fast travelling is broken

@argous_nie there is an option called Closed Captions under Sound.

Turn that off

@zoz72 I just don't see the point in adding a Nudity Filter and still censor it

That quest I mentioned in my OP would have carried a bit more weight if it wasn't censored it was a daft quest anyway, but that's not the point.

Eivor can behead all sorts and dismember limbs (there is a filter for that too), but to censor female topless ladies, etc. (as the Nudity Filter description says) in context doesn't make sense to me

As soon as I passed the gate a guard noticed me (Eivor had her hood up) and within seconds I had every guard looking for me and they don't de-aggro either I was outside the town under the bridge and an enemy still found me this was like two minutes after I was detected and escaped.

I see no difference with walk speed, I can even run through with hood up, so I don't think it's working as intended

Also the hive mind AI is awful - detection is too sensitive - enemies have eyes like hawks.

It reminds of AC Unity's Enemy AI which had similar problems



Walking speed is not an option on console unless you prefer playing the game with keyboard and mouse.

Why is this impossible to accomplish?

Why has my PSN/Ubisoft Connect friends' Jomsviking never shown up as recruitable in the Settlement.

This should be easier to do than the current RNG system.

I really would like to have my friend's accompany me on raids but it's not possible, and I have spent a good bit of my play time reloading my game, but it's always some random player (No offense to random players).

Also Mouse is still missing in the latest patch

@Torvaldesq Immortals Fenyx Rising has similar issues too.

Cross saving progression breaks the trophy list and some randomly unlock and others don't

So it has to be something that glitches the Cloud Save
Some configuration file or something.

So as have many others I have also come across this issue when transferring my save file over from PS4 to the PS5

For AC Valhalla:

- I replayed and won all the Orlog games again (it didn't unlock Orlog Champion)
- Did a River Raid (in England) - (it didn't unlock Rampage)
- There is no way to trigger Settlement Levels 3 and 6 - so they would require a new playthrough if this isn't fixed

For Wrath Of The Druids:

- I went to where the only Snake is in Meath - it wasn't there so The Legend of St Patrick remains locked unless I start a whole new game if this isn't fixed

I replayed over 10 Royal Demands (it didn't unlock King's Maker)
All the other trophies that are part of the Wrath Of The Druids are story related and would require starting a whole new game.

Sorry, but I've spent over 350 hours playing AC Valhalla on PS4, and at the end of it the game's load times were so slow I decided to transfer my save over to start Dawn of the Ragnarok.
But I can't be bothered anymore

This Cross Save issue was seemingly addressed with patch 1.2.1 but many patches later this is STILL is broken, and my fear is that you aren't going to fix it and leave us players with a broken Cross Progression save file and move on to Assassin's Creed Mirage.

You only need to look at the known issues megathread to see how pretty ridiculous it is that there are still that many issues that go back MONTHS that still aren't working

AC Valhalla is a bloated mess on the PS4 and frankly the load times are unacceptable on that platform.

I hope you take THIS thread and the known issues megathread seriously

All these issues should have been a made a priority before adding new content to the game

@lonehood yes on PS4 as well but the Ubisoft Connect in-game notifications are still broken

@ubi_plush those are instructions for PC - it didn't unlock on PS4 either

Also Ubisoft Connect Notifications (like when you level up) have been broken for a while

The Add-on Checking process is still ludicrously long (2 mins approx) which means we still have to wait at the title screen before we can load the game

Checking for add-ons in Immortals Fenyx Rising is fast so perhaps this issue can be addressed in AC Valhalla

The performance has improved for the rest - fast travelling is notably faster so thanks for that

This is still an issue

I reinstalled the game to play the Tombs of the Fallen (since I moved onto other games).

Checking for add-ons takes forever (probably longer than the times I previously stated)
And the loading into the game took so long that Eivor reached the loading screen boundary (invisible wall)

With further DLC planned - this will just get worse and there is nothing more off-putting than booting up a game to play but having to wait nearly 10 minutes just to load the game

Please optimise the game and do something about the constant checking for add-ons every time we start the game

To clarify my requests

Sorting of the Runes in the Vendor display
An indicator which runes are equipped either with a tick or an 'E'
To bring the Quest Items and Treasure Hoard Maps Sections to the top of the Inventory Menu as they are used more often than the Runes, Collectibles and other sections
