So half way through the Scenario I got Chronic Malnutrition because my Oberos did not have their needs fulfilled for tortillas, as I'd just upgraded. Fish, Bannans, all fulfilled.
What's up with that? - Even worse it seems to be permanent, while all the other negative modifiers coming out of the blue, only has a timer of 15 or 30min.
Now I'm at the last stage of the dam; and my motivation to even finishing this scenario has plummeted. Not only will I not be able to finish it in time; as I'd planned; being 15min short of the Gold timer. But having to do double the production, double the workforce, because of a permanent modifier that; well in my own words: Ruin the game.
Even to get this stage; to attempt for gold I've restarted 3 times, mainly to learn the mechanics of the new Eco-features. But the Chronic Malnutrition, there is absolutely nothing fun about it. The game completely slows down and becomes a grind.
Despite all their food is more or less fulfilled, and all base food fulfilled. They're still only working at half speed.
Please for future scenarios, put it on a 20-30min timer at tops. Because a permanent just destroys the game. Former scenarios in previous Anno games were way better, and had a better pace and more action going; while Eden Burning, is slow, slow slow.
Has anyone actually managed for Gold? - And how to avoid the negative impacts that come, even if you're Eco meters have been maxed through-out the entire game; with the lowest eco score at 96%? The game seem to cause havoc at random; and playing a game, that turns out entirely by luck isn't fun. Not for me anyway.
I hope there are more wind in the developers' sails for the next scenario, because this is a big miss.

Great videos!
Question; In your BEST START video; how did you end up with all the Legendary upon start of the game? I don't have a single item starting.
I had 15min to finish the last phase of the dam, which isn't enough. Half way through my game got permanent Chronic Malnutrition out of no where, that slowed the game down completely. It broke my motivation to even attempt to try again; as all my ECO meters were 96%+
It makes the whole difference if people can start out with whatever legendaries they need; but you don't explain how to get them on a fresh game?
Good tip with loading the game before malnutrition modifier comes in. But it's ridiculous how it just breaks the game. I hope it's the last time we'll see that modifier.
Hey.
For quite a long time, my Anno1800 game, comes up with an error after each play session. Saying It Failed to synchronize cloud saves. It is only Anno1800 having issue with this. Other Ubisoft games, i.e Anno2205 have no issues with cloud saves.
I tried many step by step guides such as in following order:
These issues happen on BOTH my Laptop and Desktop!
This is really frustrating as I often play on different computers, my laptop and my desktop. Bringing Anno with me, as I frequently travel. But for a whole month I've been unable to, as my games are out of synch.
I have spent 2½ hours trying to fix this; and no luck. Even a fresh install it fails to synchronize. This issue has been persistent for a whole month.

So update:
I reinstalled the game, and now it says "unable to start the game" after spending hours redownloading and reinstalling.
It says
"This product cannot be activate right now, please try again later"
I have been trying to reproduce it, and it's fairly simple. When I reboot my computer, the game downloads another 2GB, and puts my internet for a crawl for 20min.
It keeps downgrading to the 11. version, and doesn't stick with the 12. meaning I have to re-download the 2GB; and I lose my saves. I try and verify my game files as well, but having to both download and verify, every single time I want to play, with the risk of losing my save games. It' just ruins my motivation for playing, and trying out the new DLC.
The next step is to re-download and reinstall, fingers crossed this will fix the issue.
Same thing here. I haven't been able to advance to the new DLC, cuz it keeps messing with my saves. And updates the game every time.
The last couple of days, I've been wasting my time a bit, with my Anno Game. I have not been able to advance into High Life, as the game will update itself (for unknown reason) every time I launch it.
It overwrites my save games, reactivates all my DLC (so I need to press the okay button, for each pack in the main menu) and it also enables the Tutorial for some season. Which is to great annoyance.
So I haven't actually been able to even try the new DLC, as the game is constantly redownloading itself. I've been trying to browse around to see what's going on, as people have the similar issue. But I have not found a way of actually fixing it.
Also now when I launch the game, half the time. All the Text in the game is missing. Both on the buttons, in the UI and on the portraits.
Frustrating to say the least, I'd really looked forward to try the new content - not to be in an endless loop in my game.
