Many people, including myself, didn’t think to look at the language options available for your purchase, assuming, as it has always been until now, that English is the standard. Of course, had I known to look at this, had they advertised it in the first place, I wouldn’t have even bothered with the purchase. I’m wondering, do they assume Russian is the standard language for all CIS countries?

@felix_2805 refunded it on Epic as well. The refund process is automated and I got sms from Xsolla that i'll receive my money in 2 weeks

All the english text is there in game files it is just not active because reasons. I saw all language packs with my own eyes, they are stored in DataPC_patch_01.forge

Please ubi why cant i throw money at you at least to unlock this? the fix is simple as one byte.

Yea absolutely not playing with Russian text. Either someone releases an unofficial patch or I wait for not-so-legal copy. I hope it is ethical for me to do so as I own this on Uplay.

For Watch Dogs, their store page explicitly states: "This game will be language-locked for purchases made from Russia, Ukraine and CIS countries" and there is no such disclaimer on Valhalla's page. Anyway, you can't launch it yet from Epic for some reason.

Can anyone confirm if I get it on Epic store will there be full English interface and voiceover? It is stated on their store page that all languages are supported.

Epic's support is sure that it is not language-locked.
