It changed the version number. That's pretty much it.
Honestly, I wonder if you have to start a brand new game in order for the patch to work. Like... do problems persist due to the save state?
I got an Avenge quest while in town and the "perpetrators" ended up being three dead chickens (from the quest where you have to restore order before Hemming's funeral), and therefore the quest can't be completed, since the chickens cannot be interacted with to "verify" their deaths.
In general, the targets of these quests seem to always be things that are already dead, as in I'll kill something, then find the Avenge quest, only for that thing I already killed to be the "target". I don't imagine this is how these are intended to go. Anyhow, I have a quest now that is hard locked, since I can't complete it and can't cancel it.
Screenshot is below:
Prior to the Battle of Monmouth mission, George Washington can be found standing around in a camp full of Redcoats in Northern New York, at the site of a Benedict Arnold mission. When activated, Washington and Connor have a dialogue which behaves as though the Battle of Monmouth has already happened, even though it may not have. This particular Benedict Arnold mission is clearly not meant to appear in the game and be accessible until the Battle of Monmouth has been completed. Also, it is quite immersion breaking to see Gen. Washington casually standing around, surrounded by Redcoats who are not reacting to the commander of the opposing army being right in front of them.
I air assassinated an enemy in one of those churches with the messed up roof. Eivor got stuck on a roof beam and I stopped being able to move him. Couldn't save. Had to literally load a save because saving was disabled. Lost like 30 minutes of gameplay. EXTREMELY frustrating, and you'd think that amateur hour bugs like this would have been addressed long before now. This game is UNFINISHED, and whichever MBA-toting stuffed shirt truncated development and forced it out in this state needs to be kicked right to the curb. Any businessperson worth their weight in [censored] knows that quality comes first. Ubisoft is nearly as bad as EA and it's not improving. Time to make changes.

...this isn't a bug. You can have multiple of the same rune, and stack the bonuses.
Additionally, the horse does not appear to be able to path through Grantebridge, resulting in pathing that goes around, often far out of the way.
@battlebabushka Has happened to me as well, both before and after the 1.0.4 "patch".
EDIT: Tried saving and reloading, as well as loading an earlier autosave. Bug persisted, and I was only able to complete the quest by having Eivor run all the way there.
