After update 1.3.0 when I go to Ireland, Eivor goes to his bed there and the game gets in an endless loup that you can not exit anymore.
Why does Ubisoft never test these updates!?!?!?!?
Can we please get a 60 fps boost for this game on the XBox Series XS?
Anyone else noticed that the screen tearing is not always there? Even in the same environments (for example the long house). I have a feeling it seems to get worse at the same time that I get a lot of can’t reach the Ubisoft server errors and/or the corrupt save games occur.
@bradcuster
Ubi saying there will be a fix does not mean there will be an actual fix. Most bugs that were in the game when it was released are fixed according to Ubi, but not according to the players. Every update we only get more bugs.
I like Ubi games, but in the future I will buy them when the ultimate edition is dropped to 15 euros and the game is somewhat bugfree. Just bought Breakpoint for that price.
I actually really like the idea of the mastery challenges, but I find them frustrating, which is something completely different from hard. A lot of times Valhalla simply does not do what you expect. Eivor gets stuck a lot during the challenges, or does not have enough space to move freely. NPC’s get randomly killed when you kick them back, immidiately after being kicked once, without falling. NPC’s suddenly have eyes in their back (but not always). Assassinate option suddenly disappears in resulting Eivor striking the enemy and blowing his/her/it’s cover. And I can go on. I would love it if it was just hard, but I hate it because now it is mostly frustrating. I have to restart 20 times, not because I do something wrong, but because Valhalla behaves at its own will, completely random and buggy.
After the latest update 1.1.2 I can finally spot some big flat fish, but I am unable to catch them because they always start flying as soon as they reach Eivor. I restarted the game, restarted the Xbox, tried about 20 times and they always start flying. Other fish don't do that.
Same here (Series X)
Wow another bug, had never expected that
@azullfr
This whole mastery challenge thing is the most frustrating game element I have ever encountered in any game. It simply does not work.
Eivor gets stuck or enemies start running around you with incredible speed. While trying to assistants they suddenly have eyes in their back. Customized controls don’t work, so now I always press the wrong buttons. Also because you can’t choose where the abilities are, you get them mixed up all the time. It is just horrible.
What I really don’t get is people who defend micro transactions in full priced games. Ubisoft does not need them to survive. This is a company that has more fat than there bones can hold. Luckily more and more people begin to see what’s wrong with this kind of business. Especially in Valhalla the micro transactions are that bad, because half of them are not purely cosmetic. And the many serious bugs do not get fixed, but all kind of *** is still added to the in game store.
Just started up the game again after months of ignoring it. If Mirage’s gameplay is like this mission, there will be a lot of funny reviews to read.

There can not be another more inclusive edition. Ultimate is the final version, that includes everything. If you buy an ultimate edition, all dlc’s should be included.
@TheNorfolkian
25% bonus makes me wonder how this was designed to give us the most fun while playing it. I now feel 25% what I do is just letting time pass doing useless things. Just like the free games on your phone. Completely ruins it for me.
@TheNorfolkian
The fact you can buy “timesavers” (cash grabbers) for this new challenge destroyed the experience for me before I started.
@hidden1ne
I do notice that now. It is still raining sometimes, but not always like before I brought the body back. Great fix! Big shame for Ubi, that players have to make up workarounds for all the bugs in this game.
@hidden1ne
Today (about 600 gameplay hours after completing this quest) I returned the body to the camp, saved and quitted the game. Restarted the game and .... it's raining....
Edit: Next time I restarted the game, it did not rain!
@azullfr I also only get them at Scotthoh Farm now and you have to wait a long time for them to pop up. Just like it was a year ago. It looks like the implemented fix was reverted.

That’s a lot of posts about the clothes physics in Valhalla.
@ubi-borealis
Another couple of months have passed and I still experience this problem on my Xbox series x. Today only an hour, but still… I did download and reinstall the whole game last week.. I did start the game (not quick resume) from start. Did the Reda missions and messed around in a bandit camp for the weekly challenge (all kills were counted). After an hour the spinning never ending saving thing appeared again and I had to restart the game. Had to redo the Reda missions again and all progress from the beginning of my session was gone.
It has been more then a year now. And still I loose progress multiple times each week, my Beserker gear gets constantly resetted, I have to redo the Reda dailies most of the time because they simply do not count (spinning save wheel bug), can’t participate in the Yule festival, experience multiple crashes and other bugs.… And the game gets more bugs with each update. Bought Ubisofts GR Breakpoint (145 hours played now) and that game has not had one crash, always quick resumes (it automatically reconnects), dailies work flawless and it never disconnects from the servers during gameplay. So I’m sure it’s Valhalla’s bad programming and not my internet.
