So I’m literally staring at my “Wrath of the Druid’s” description box after one loads in and you guys describe “Ireland attempting to unify under one High King” while the tribes long history of distrust is still a predominant factor.
You guys nailed it on the head and what’s unfortunate is that this was Ireland’s only real chance to unify as the majority of the island supported Brian Boru aka “The High King”.
He was in power, so to speak, from 1002 AD until 1014 AD when he was struck down while praying post battle as the Irish had pushed the Vikings into a retreat. It is said that the Vikings that were caught were cut in the abdomen, had their intestines nail to a tree and forced to walk around the tree until they could no longer do so or died.
Personally, my family’s name showed up in the Irish Annals in 1008 AD and has been in the records ever since.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for the expansion, the research you put forth (thus far) and I really look forward to playing to see what’s in store.
