it takes about 30-45 seconds at the first start up to check for addons, why its checking it? It was super annoying on Odyssey, why its here too? The game doesnt know what addons i have or what?
why whem i am ingame, go back to menu, it doesnt go back to menu, it goes back to the start and its again checking for addons? Its a bit faster, but still, why again?

Okay, lets be super stupid and pretend this is normal .. on start up. Then you go to the game, you are walking, stealing, riding, flying .. then you hit ESC and go to main menu .. do you know where I go with this? .. The game will check for addons again ..
You can do this within 30 seconds, start the game, load the game, go to menu and it will check again ..

What are you? Steam that doesnt remember our age and has to ask on every entry?

So i just noticed there is no option to destroy gear, sell it, remove it .. anything.
I must say .. that is extremely idiotic.

I wanted to remove some items because i noticed, for some reason, i have some items more than once, which kinda annoys me.
No idea where i got it but i cant get rid of them.
So far it goes for every item there is, helm, armor .. except for bows, so far i have only one bow of each.

anyone else noticed the calling voice from Frozen 2 from time to time? I am in England right now, just started playing so dont know if its also elsewhere .. but i find it kind interesting

this reminds me details of legs, shoes .. or horse tail ..
something you spend hours watching, horse tail less than your shoes, but still, you keep seeing it when running, climbing, almost all the time .. yet for some reason, everyone decided its not important to make it nice, be a pleasant to look at ..
horse tail in Valhalla is slightly better than in Odyssey, but legs, shoes, still no extra work was put into ..

and when you are running and you can see the polygon edges, reminds me 20 years old game like Max Payne or Counter Strike .. its not something that should be in a game from 2020.
Yet .. if you look inside the mounth, the skin, the teeth, how round and perfect it is, something you will almost never see during the gameplay .. you know there is something wrong. If they never bothered to do even basic sharpening or how to say it, rounding, you cant expect them to put some extra work into this ..
If someone cant do a simple job, you cant expect them to do a hard job ..

so just the small area around the town being under snow .. yeah, very immersive .. especially when just 50 meters from town for kilometers, no snow .. kinda weird, extremely pathethic.

just bought the game, started it and i must say .. its extremely bad, stupid, idiotic how the first thing is to set gameplay setting, like immersive, loot icons etc .. why not just normal menu with setting options, to set resolution etc .. i have multiple monitors and when starting this game, its set default to 1024x768, bad aspect ratio and its mesing everything up .. second thing it goes to game, creating a character.

During all this i can hear like a movie, cinematic? in the background .. fighting, crashing and some "texture glitching" .. like when you have texture, an object, within an another object and the physics are crazy .. super annoying.

Who the hell sets default resolution from 20 years ago and makes this setting .. things like this makes me wanna just burn the world down for now using the brain .. sorry but this is very [censored] messing the monitors and game like this. They keep blinking and windows are resizing. Last year i have found one game that did it too and i know its the bad small resolution that does this.

Ubisoft everything wants me to type name and password each time i login .. everywhere!! Browser, launcher, each single time .. even though i select "remember me". Never use another account, never use different computer.

like what? GPU affecting if the option is on when the ingame option is off?
Running etc looks all the same with option on and off, there is no difference with the visuals, this is with OFF

Whats up with the fake lightning during cutscenes when talking to someone? I play lot of AC, Fenyx .. when player is talking to an NPC, its like its under some spotlights, but each angle has different lightning, different power .. especially visible during night or in shades .. its so stupid and extremely ugly, taking away the magic ..

why every game has it? why is it a feature?

it would be extremely appreciated if your new games didnt have this feature .. its useless, annoying
and what is even more stupider .. even after you abandon a game, not updating, not doing any new content, the game is still checking for content .. why its still checking? Why even in a first place?
Every other developer knows what content they are doing and what players have .. no need to check 20 seconds after the game start .. well .. after you press a freaking button

so either remove CHECKING .. or remove "press button to start" .. or let the game check during start up .. not in menu .. so many hours wasted just by those lame features ..

hm, might try that .. but players shouldnt be fixing developers bugs if we pay them to do it .. there is obviously a problem in code and they are just lazy to do anything about it

I hate this feature in games, its off, yet when i am running, everything is still blurry ..
so what does the blurr actually turns off if not the blurr when moving?

Is it possible to turn it off? Its super annoying how it keeps popping up every few seconds that i have resources .. and i hate others tips too, its really annoying

now it says "waiting to connect to ubisoft servers" .. omg
so did it again .. game crashed .. now i have to do it again ..
