This forum really is trash now, scrolling through topics is broken, no support is provided by anyone to issues people are having. Whats the point? Might as well just scrap the whole poorly designed website.
I've been trying to create a support ticket for some issues I have found, but I have to say the new website layout is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.
The rework on in looks like a blatent copy of the Bethesda one (just differen't colours), but it is just awful in comparison, the loading of it is just poorly done, constantly flickers and is slow to do anything. Also, you cannot even create a support ticket, the only option you have is "start chat" followed by as permanent "* Chat is currently unavailable. Please choose another support method.". Well done for finding a way to avoid giving players support for a newly released game.
For a big company like Ubisoft, this website is a truly shocking failure of a web developer.
This is what IU've been trying to report:
Having a few issues ingame, such as:
Crew settings for my ship seem to be resetting when you log out the game, for example I like to have Bjorn as a crew member, but every time i close the game and re-open it, I need to reassign him.
Sometimes after killing someone with a spear, your character freezes in a crouched position as if they are about to strike someone. You cannot move in this position, only attack.
Sometimes summoning your boat will make it spawn half on land, making it effectively stuck there.
I've noticed a few things on here, don't know if they are intentional, lapse in thought when developing or a general bug, but:
Quiver - I have no idea what the max quiver capacity is for each arrow type, some people say go to a shop and see it there, I couldn't. But... You can upgrade the quiver, how much do you get per upgrade? It doesn't doesn't display any information on this anywhere.
Rations - Same as above, is it just one additional ration per upgrade or do you get more at higher levels? No information on this anywhere.
Switching weapons - When you go into your inventory and decide to switch weapons and/or gear, it doesn't provide any comparison to what you already have equipped, which is very unhelpful. Especially since it's not even clear which item(s) are equipped, if you have a big inventory of items i suspect this will be pretty hard and irritating to do.
Store weapons/equipment - Similar to the above, when hovering over a store item it provides no comparison to what you already have equipped. This means you have to go back and forth between your inventory and the shop to see if the items would be better for you or not, seems.... stupid?
