Well... this is it for me I suppose. When this bug hit me about 2 months ago and I started to read this megathread on the forum, I could not believe that players were unable to finish the game because of this bug. I was confident that the bug/game would be solved by the time I would reacht that point. Yet, apparantly 100 days further since the bug was first reported, I am now a not so proud member of the club of people that are at this dead end. Nothing left to do except for some grinding daily reda-missions. If i wanted grinding daily's, I would return to another great world of war and crafting.
As somewhat of an Assassin Creed fan, playing ALL the chapters of the franchise (remember how groundbreaking it was, parcouring through Jeruzalem with Altaïr?) I just can't understand this situation I am in. Thousands of dedicated players have read an posted notes here, telling about there problems. Many have helped, uploaded savegames, went the length to provide as much information to Ubisoft as needed. Yet nothing. I posted a ticket about 2 months ago at Ubisoft support, asked about how I could help to solve this gamebreaking bug. Never got any reaction. Not only does it make me sad/irritated'/frustrated (just what you need in a time like this, right? Like life itself hasn't been pretty challenging this last year :s ), it also leaves me flabbergasted about why this hasn't been solved or why there is almost no reaction from support or official responses here (except once a month a "so sorry, nothing fixed"-post from ubisoft support staff).
Why Ubisoft? Do you not care about your gaming-community? Is it too hard to communicate with your players and keep them up to date information-wise? Is it too much asked let people hear from you, letting us know that you care? Aren't you proud enough off this game to make it the unforgetable bug-free and playable experience for everyone, as it should have been from the start?
So, end of the road for AC Valhalla. Thanks for 3 months of questionable fun. If you ever decide to get dedicated again to us, loyal paying players, let me know. I might even consider to let Ubisoft win back my loyalty...
Perhaps it's no use for me to also reply to this post, but better every case of reporting the gamebreaking bug: stuck at the part where i have to hand in the broach. Picked it up in the dungeon as I was following the questline. Got the quest marker to hand it in but when i fast traveled back to Lincoln, the quest marker was gone. Hunwald is standing with his companions in a circle like a bunch of nitwits, and no interaction with him possible. Thus ending progression. 2 months of not fixing this bug...yikes...
I don't play the game through ubisoft+. Bought it and starts up (with ubisoft connect). However, since the last patch, like all other players here, the game crashes every 15-30 minutes. Like the title of this post says. It looks like it is more likely to happen after i've accepted the daily quests from Reda. When i've done that and the game crashes, at restart the Reda-quests are gone and I have to reactivate them.
Like the first post: my pc is up to date, i meet the requirements (much more then needed) and the game is up to date.
Unfortunatly, this, with being unable to finish the game because of the gamebreaking bug which has been unsolved since the beginning (Ealdorman), makes the game for me hard to enjoy.... I am really wondering why there is so much to do about an apparantly buggy game like CP2077 (which runs marvelous and bugfree on my pc) and no one is talking about this bugfest of a game...
@rassebasse
Nope... it's not you.
I did some short gaming sessions to finish the last errands. some daily missions and some community stuff. Well, short, because like with you, the game keeps crashing within half an hour. It has been like this since the beginning of this game. First i could not finish the game because of a gamebreaking bug which took them almost half a year to get rid of. the crashing, however, still remains as one of the most annoying thing ever in a game. Friend of mine has started the game three times and finally deleted is because it kept crashing.
The steps ubisoft shows in the pc troubleshooting article have been run through 100 times. no result. All in all, with all the bugs, all the crashing, this game, assassins creed Crashalla has become one of the most dissapointing experiences i have ever had in my entire gaming carreer. And it is really sad, as i have been a huge assassins creed fan from the start. Played every single game there is in the franchise but i am afraid they killed it for me with this one...
