It takes too much time not because you own too many DLC but because this game uses stupid design to implement its post-launch content.
There are currently 22 addons. And each of them have to be checked for availability (which is often just a flag based on their public release day). Most of those addons are helix store crap. They still have to be checked even if you didnt purchase their "content".
Load times can certainly be optimised by merging those old smaller addons into bigger chunks.
Most challenges require killing every singe enemy in specific way. That would not be a problem if the content wasnt super buggy or enemies didnt constantly kill themself.
Odins cave is just pure torture. In melee challenge half of the time charge does no damage to enemies pinned to the wall, so you can easily run out of adrenaline and have no choice but to restart. In archery challenge some enemies standing on destructible platforms sometimes destroyed them with their own arrows. And final banner carrier loves to just set himself on fire with his own bombs. I've lost count how many times I had to restart that because something stupid just happened.
Point is, even gold medal target needs to allow some small room for random crap like this.
@kam945
It makes way too much sense to be in the game, sorry
Do we need any other proof that no one, and I mean literally no one, tests summits before release?
I dont see the need for steering.
Some racing games dont have steering, you can beat races by simply taping gas. I think steering is unfair for players who dont know how to steer.
Because devs are trolls, thats why.
I also want to ask why there is slipstream from ghosted players in time attack events. In time attack racers are racing against time, not other racers directly, its in the name after all. Racing simultaneosly with ghosted players is gameplay convinience to save real world time. Nothing more, nothing less. Its meant to imitate split start (inability to interact with other racers by crashing or blocking) without actually consuming extra time. Yet that inability to interact somehow has limits in this glorious game. Because ghosted slipstream exists. A magic invented of Ivory Tower devs.
If you enjoy PvP modes and competition my advise to you: run as far as you can from this game. I knew I would if i didnt invest so much time that I dont just want to throw away. But even for me its getting increasingly harder to justify playing this garbage joke of a game.
Current weeks summit gives laughable ammount of summit score pomts for skills (in 5-25k range instead of usual 120-150k).
Is this intentional or bug?
Personally I dont mind if its intentional, I always disliked how skills are implemented in summits and want them to be gone. But I still want to know.
@lm0101998
Pff, what did you expect?
IVT hates EVs. They dont add pure EVs and make all hybrids garbage on purpose.
I cant make my stupid horse gallop with keyboard+mouse (this action is assigned to its default - "shift") after installing newest update. Sprinting on foot (which uses the same button) still works. Gallop also works with xbone controller, but I prefer kb+m for AC games and dont wont to relearn controls due to this silly bug.
@mixalis_345
Almost everything is stored on Ubisoft server so you didnt lose anything.
Stuff that is saved locally: some game settings (like video and controls), photos and liveries you havent uploaded yet, car collection thumbnails (will be recreated when you open vehicles selection).
All your game progress is saved online.
@Ubi-TheBerry
This one is definitely game's fault. So far I was unable to figure out exact reason/trigger for crashes. First time I've got it after browsing weekly items in "far and beyond" booth at HQ. 2nd crash happened a few seconds after I left summit menu screens after doing all summit activities. Yersterday it didnt crash in 2 hours (I was doing dailies and NY USST races on all 3 difficulties). Today it crashed 2 times, after NY HC event and then after Dallas HC event. Ending activities seems to be the most common cause but it doesnt happen every time.
If anyone actually monitors crash logs sent by Uplay (or whatever its called this week, sorry I've lost track) client they should see sharp increase in TC2 crashes across the beard.
@CREW_ITALY
I've told you before. 500k CC is not a reward for reaching max icon level.
It's a compensation for players who cant complete "get followers" weekly challenges in motorpass since Forsberg update. This is where 500k number comes from, to buy 50 levels you need 500k (well, you start at level 1, so actually you need "only" 490k).
Im not sure if they are still doing this in current update, and it doesnt matter in your case anyway since you've already missed motorpass start day, which is when those credits are given. You may get 500k when next motorpass starts. If there will be next motorpass, and if they will keep those "get followers' challenges instead of real ones they had before, and if this compensation is something they will decide to keep doing. Its a lot of "ifs".
@UNKnowN2035
Go ask Toyota to change their licensing policy, not Ubisoft/IVT
@SANZ-G12
Im not your mate, pal.
No one will ever be banned in this game, for any reason. The sooner you realize and deal with it the better.
@SANZ-G12
And what will be the reason for ban? They arent using any software hacks or even bugs. Seems like a normal game physics interaction, maybe slightly unintended in this particular case.
Before you start screaming at me: no, I didnt use this myself. Seems like too much hassle. Same as older "meta" tricks in escapes, I rarely use them even in premium summits, and never anywhere else.
Speaking of which. In my opinion this plane + bike trick is way better than having "amazing" metas like drag car + wheel (bonus points if its "offroad" escape), or airplane + hypercar divebomb followed by frog leaping over hills with that idiotic air nitro, or our old buddy back-on-track reset (not fully fixed to this day).
My ideal solution to this problem, and I've said this before many times, would be leaving things with escapes as they are, but removing all escapes from summits completely. In fact we already had a few months without escapes. Now we only need to have this as a permanent feature. Why escapes? Because its by far the most broken skill type, for every exploit they've fixed (or though to have fixed) two more gets discovered. There is simply no end to this.
BTW Crew 2 does not support account bans. Surely someone with high enough server access can simply erase or corrupt your profile data, but bans/suspensions are not coded into the game itself. And the total number of accounts banned in Crew 2 since 2018 is 0 (zero).
Wonder how many selfish people who have done this summit in the past and got all the rewards will be doing this summit again?! Its not fair on those who haven't got this car.
Nice try but you will have to earn it. Cant have everyone and their grandmother driving this baby after all.
@UbiChrisMANG
Well if you decide to buff its baseline performance (personally I dont see any problems with it, its pretty similar to Aventador, just how it should be) dont forget to nerf its nitro power in the process.
Right now with maxed nitro set its 2nd best hypercar after Chiron 300+ on any high speed track. Because it has strongest nitro in class. Seems to me topic starter is unhappy that HC Countach doesnt crap on every other car like SR Countach does (which he calls "usable", really? calling absolute top by a huge margin "usable"?).
@Ubi-MrM
Xbox One Controller (model 1708)
Windows 10 22H2
I dont think this problem is hardware specific at all. Seems like there is an issue with physics model parameters of the car itself.
Yea, it has only 5 gears and low top speed when full stock.
For full stock cars game shows predefined text quoting manufacturer. Its not always accurate. Especially for "edition" cars, they show regular car's stats while in reality they usually perform significantly different. Seems like this is by design, not a bug.
Displayed top speed becomes accurate (so long as you dont use nitro, slipstream and drive on flat road with no slope) if you equip any gear parts. To check actual top speed for a full stock car equip only brakes on it. Brakes dont change top speed but (like any equiped part) change predefined text to a number calculated by game engine.
Ok, thats 1 problem out of 4 taken care of.
The car is still AWD (should be RWD), comes with rally cross tires by default, and yes, causes a lot more gamepad rumbling than other cars when you drive it.
