I followed this video and it fixed it for me I'm now at power level 476. I hope it works for all of you.

@corvosilver I have the same problem and even after the new update 1.4.1. it still doesn't work. I cant even get the woman to talk to me now. I have a video and will put it up soon . I hope they get this fixed.

I got a reply and was told that it should be fixed before The Dawn of Ragnrok is released I guess we will see. and I'm still having problems taking over bases in Ireland witch is funny I still get resources from them but the game wont let me take over them.

For some reason I can't seem to get the second captain on the river Rhine raids for the Ulfberht sword to appear. what can I do to fix this. I tried uninstalled the game and all its components reinstalled them and still the same problem. I've got over 350 hours in this game. I have a video how do I put it on here?

Thank you all so much as least for me after the 1.5.0 update on Xbox one x the problem is fixed. I was able to talk to the old woman and move to the first shrine. I'm still having trouble in Ireland with the outpost still telling me that I already control them when I do not. but with that said I wish to say I'm sorry that I posted and complained so much it was just frustration on my part this is a great game and I am really enjoying it. again thank you for the fix and I can't wait to see what's next for Assassins Creed
