Same problem with Sigurd and I tried to reload a manual save before starting the mission and also reloading the autosaves from the beginning of the mission, still nothing.
I reported everything on Facebook to Ubisoft Romania.

From the beginning, I explored a lot before the main quest, fought the guy in the mountains, collected all the wealth of the first region and done some side quests (the one with the guy who tells me to kill a bear for him and after I killed the bear, he got killed by a second bear and I cannot finish the mission and another mission where I have to throw away from a mountain some crates, I help the guy and he throws himself off the ledge, I don't get any confirmation that the mission is finished). Really strange behaviour in this as you never know any progress of the side missions nor they work as they are supposed to.

Please solve the issue as soon as possible...

Nothing works, prodigal prince is still bugged.

@fiercejeopardy not sure man, problem is another quest is not finished with the guy from the top of the mountain asking my help to throw some boxes and then he kills himself. I managed to kill the super fighter (mystery) from the cave and also I got the level up.

@draglous-jam Are you talking about an isolated house on a mountain top? If yes, the solution is to take out an arrow and shoot over the wall from the inside of the house, the fabric will light up and the barrels will explode.

What about the prodigal prince quest? Any idea?

@ubi-woofer I have switched to PS5 and transferred over all my data from PS4 Pro, still encountering the same issue. Maybe put your testers and developers to try to get a lot of xp/increase the level,explore everything on the initial map and then proceed with the main story. It is really strange that it cannot be replicated when so many people have this problem.

Now imagine me explaining the same things to PSN, who recommends again all the steps ubisoft already did, without even paying attention that I've given them links and conversations from this forum. My sincere opinion is that we will not get patched this year and we are not able to get the money back...

I can confirm the bug with a prodigal prince is fixed on PS5, the save games were erased and the cinematic went on with Sigurd and Eivor.

@ubi-borealis I managed to submit my save files to one of your colleagues, not quite easy as ps5 will not let you export to external, luckily the ps4 save games were still there as well. Case number 13325665.

@Ubi-Woofer thanks for the update. I am not able to provide save games as I need a large external drive for ps5. But indeed before proceeding to a prodigal prince, the mission to kill a bear was started, I killed the bear for that guy however the second bear kills him and I couldn't proceed and also the mission couldn't be restarted. Another mission that I've done before a prodigal prince was with a guy that we are supposed to help to throw things from a cliff, which again is not correctly ended as the guy kills himself by jumping from that cliff. I suppose that the mission with the bear is a trigger.

For me turning to PSN for a refund worked, they sent me back the money and retracted the game from my account.

According to my email, now playstation will start investigating this issue... However my hopes aren't high.
