If I had never played AC before I would be okay with this game, but after playing Odyssey for the past few years this game is terrible so far.

It's still early, so it could get better, but everything seems half-thought -out to me.

1. no arrow crafting
2. combat style is not my thing at all
3. voice acting is WAY to over the top. Not believable at all. Odyssey was natural and believable.
4. Venders are useless.
5. Why do I even need a bird? Does it serve any purpose at all?

There's more but this is just a step in the wrong direction IMO.

Also they have violated an age old mind set... "if it's not broken, don't fix it"

They got Odyssey right IMO. They didn't need to completely gut it and re-invent the wheel with this game.

Never judge a game by it's prologue.

I was hating on this game a bit at first, but since I've arrived in England it's been all good.

It's different, but fun anyways for me at least. I can see this game being one that I will be playing a lot.

So if anyone is still in prologue, just wait. It gets better.

My guess is they will add it later. It wasn't available in Odyssey at first either if I remember correctly. They added it after time.

Everyone should remember that this is the first version of Valhalla, and just like Odyssey had many changes over time, so will this game.

Personally, I like the way Odyssey evolved with time, so hopefully Valhalla will do the same.

Nudity only for NPCs in some quests.

Haven't gotten to any of those yet, but eventually you will run into quests with nude NPCs

Odyssey felt more realistic and challenging to me.

It's too early to tell if I'm going to grow to like this combat system as much. So far it has me reaching to play Odyssey again.

This game feels rushed and short in some areas so far. I feel like they probably spent half the time creating it than they did to create Odyssey.

Maybe the Pandemic left them short on time?
