@cgeist762 Yeah and I'm enjoying Far Cry 6 a lot. What's funny is that other game developers and gamers who learn how to appreciate actually love these games. The amount of bandwagon hate and with unjustified extremely unrealistic expectations is so asinine and ridiculous, people like you are getting worse and worse. Gamers were awful 10 to 15 years ago, but gamers these days are so repugnant... it's disgusting. I used to be like you when I was younger, but as I got older I start to appreciate things more. I didn't continue to hate games, and if there's a game I don't really like... I don't warn people. It's much better to form your own opinion through your own experiences than rely on someone else's opinion. So if someone likes this game, don't warn them. Let them form their own opinion. If they don't like it, so what. Let them dislike it. If they like the game, stop trying to influence them to dislike it.

Comparing Far Cry 6 to Colonial Marines is simply absurd. That's all I have to say.

Great post!! I agree about the bandwagon hate storm for anything new!! Warning people about a game after its been out for a few days, LOL. This game looks like it has a lot of ground to cover, lots of stuff to do and new ways to play with the resolver weapons and Supremos. But hey I suppose people have already played enough to know everything about it, and then WARN others about it. This is the problem with modern day gamers who wont invest time into a game before bashing on it in public forums. To the OP who started the thread, I can respect that you might not like the game, your needs for a game may be very different than mine. But I would have a hard time respecting an opinion based on limited play time or information.

@sleezure So I get your point. And it is a valid point. But I will say that trying to have a video game make (total sense) in any way, is maybe expecting too much. Although it isnt ideal, you can have multiple guns setup, with multiple types of ammo and have them at the ready.

I honestly believe this is why games are getting so hard to make now. More people are experiencing them, and there are so many different viewpoints of what people want or expect. Every person in the world now has a voice or a channel thanks to the internet, but that just means there are going to be more opinions. Good or bad. Everyone is a critic, and everyone has thinks their viewpoint is important. I think FC6 has been a welcome change for me, while it isnt perfect I do like many of the changes they have made. Reading reviews or comment threads here on these forums, or on steam, or anywhere people are given the chance to voice an opinion, it seems to me like it is mostly negative. I have read some good ideas on here that might improve the game, and some that are silly. But overall, I think the game is fun, big, beautiful, and looks like there was some hard work put into making something that is new, and feels a little different, but also has the Far Cry feel to it. I sometimes feel like we as gamers have had so many awesome games over the last 20 years we expect every game to be the next greatest game ever. Then people seem so let down when it isnt the case.

I think it's a good step forward in the series. Not PERFECT!!! But it has added some new features and very much still feels like a Far Cry game. Lots of people panic when things change, and reviews in general are useless today because everyone is a critic. The addition of gear is a positive for me, being able to have pieces that fit your playstyle. The addition of perks for your Amigos, is also a nice feature. Ammo types, are ok, I use 3 AP, and one smg for soft target ammo, and it is working quite well. Being able to change out weapons in the field, instead if having to visit a safe house has also been a good addition. I have had good performance also on a 2080ti, I9-9900, and 32GBram. Solid frame rates with great visuals. Overall, I am very happy with FC6!!

@kazu82 I have also had this EXACT same problem. The only fix for me is a complete restart and the game runs perfectly again. I am running 2080ti 9900k and 32GB ram. I have been playing this game for a long time but this problem has just started for me in the last month.
