Hey, Riders!
You know the drill by now, so here is a new Community Update to keep you informed about what the Riders Republic team has in store for you. This one took a bit longer than anticipated to get out, so without further ado, let us get into it.
Before diving into the nitty-gritty, a reminder No, Riders Republic is not abandoned, far from it, and while this new season had a big focus on the new Showdown Mode, if you’re more about riding solo, new content tailored to you is also coming (like the Leaderboards, the BMX career, new weekly challenges and rewards, and more). It is the team’s vision for Riders Republic to be a social space with at its core the riding experience and player interactivity, with regularly added new content.
The team is actively working on a lot of cool things, but also listening to your feedback and using it to improve the game. Some things take longer than others to change. We’ll strive to keep you updated on what to expect and when to expect it with every community update.
Point of clarification We have seen a few comments from players who have been confused about the naming of the seasons, the BMX launch date, and our overall Year One plan milestones. Let us clarify everything.
The first Year includes multiple seasons: Grand Opening, Winter Bash (both of which have come and gone), Showdown season which we’ve just entered, Summer Break and the BMX season. Summer Break will begin mid-July, and the BMX season will release afterwards. BMX season will, of course, include the release of the BMX gear and career.
Showdown Season features We love to see you discuss what you like and dislike about the new Showdown Mode, how you’d like to see Clans improve, and what you want from session markers. We’ll continue to keep an eye on your thoughts and share them with the team to improve the experience!
Regarding wheelies, stoppies and manuals, we’re happy to see many of you loving that latest addition to Riders Republic, but you wish they could count as part of combos/tricks and get points. This is planned to come with the BMX season. Stay tuned!
Mass Races As you know, Mass Races are an ongoing, evolving topic as we fine tune the formula based on our data, your feedback, and the game’s creative vision.
When are the next brand-new Mass Races coming? The first one is releasing this season, on June 15th! The next one will go live during Summer Break, which is our third and upcoming season. What about the other kinds of Mass Races? As you’ve noticed, we have special Mass Races live this week, which are Mass Races with fixed gear. Warrior Mass Races, the ones with special obstacles, will return in July. What about collisions? We’re continuing to pay attention to this. We’re preparing a special no-collision Mass Race event during the Summer, so you can try it out in-game, and we can gather your feedback. As always, we hope you’ll share your honest thoughts with us! What do you think about this no-collision test? Are you looking forward to it? Are you dreading it? Let us know in the comments below.
Prada Surprise If you were also wondering when you'll be able to start the chase, it's coming very soon, as in next week!
User Creations We strive to read every single Twitter comment, Reddit thread, Discord post and more. As such, we have seen that many questions and criticisms about our User Creation features have been posted. So, here is a rundown of two of the most asked questions and our answers.
Why are my user created events being deleted without notice? The world of Riders Republic is an evolving one. As you may have noticed with the release of Showdown, when the team creates new places or riding spots, they take form in the actual open world. What that means is that if you created a track that went through the Showdown arena, for example, come the update, your track would get deleted. HOWEVER, our auto-detection system may have been a bit too... overzealous with deletions. We will adjust it so that deletions happen way less, and we hope that this will motivate you to keep creating events. We’re also working on a way to give you notice when that’s about to happen, as well as improvements for the feature as a whole. While those changes won’t happen in the short term, they’re definitely still something the team keeps thinking about. My creations are fine, but they get mass reported which leads to getting a warning email or worse, a ban. What the heck? We understand that this must be very frustrating. We have taken your feedback to heart and adjusted our algorithm to try and ensure that bans do not continue to happen. We hope that this will encourage you to start sharing photos again!
Open Forums We also wanted to thank every one of you who took part in the Open Forums. Your feedback about the Sponsors, as well as the open world experience, was very valuable. This feedback is already directly impacting how the team is working on improving the game.
Our next Open Forum – which will most likely take place in the next few weeks – will be about Weekly Challenges. Be sure to prepare your thoughts!
We also have not forgotten about the AMA with the dev team. We are still working on setting that up and ask for a bit more patience as we prepare for it.
The future The team is working on a lot of new content for the weeks, months and seasons to come:
Fun new ways to interact with each other in the Ridge The release of the Juggernaut and Sniper toys this Summer A special collaborative summer event with a purpose, more info to come... Leaderboards BMX of course And more...
Regarding Leaderboards, we’re happy to share a first look!

Leaderboards will be a time/score attack mode you can select on any event You will be able to browse through the performances of the community You’ll have the ability to select a ghost and ride against it (with no collisions) Get ready: prepare your skills to climb up the rankings!
And on the topic of BMX, we’ll make sure to tease it before its release, so you can know what to expect ahead of time. We’re looking forward to sharing more about BMX as we get closer to its release.
That’s it for May’s Community Update!
As usual, we will keep an eye on the replies to this, and we will see you all very soon in the coming weeks for the next Open Forum?
See you in the Republic, Riders!
