I'm getting a persistent Crash to Desktop, not in combat approaching Black peak from the north, i have verified all files and even done a delete reinstall but doesn't seem to have any effect. Happens every time, Get within about 180m of black peak coming down from the river and the game just straight bins out. I'm on the quest "Settling down" and i'd just finished raiding Grantebridgescire, should be noted the same thing was happening trying to go out of the southern door from the building with the two skirmishers inside during the raid. Just had to approach the door and *CRASH* straight to desktop.

Also isn't always just valhalla sometimes it takes ubisoft connect with it. No explanation. Can't find any log files to help track the problem down.

Deffo not pc. Just had a full playthrough of mass effect legendary on same SSD pretty much same graphics settings and not a hiccup. Runs benchmarks just fine. Gfx is doesn't go above 40 degrees even at 100% (liquid cooled)

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@passthedragunov I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this, it is not a known issue. It's possible that your save file is somehow corrupted as you mentioned you had experienced crashes prior to this during a raid.

If you have an older save file before you completed the raid can you try loading that save and avoid completing the raid and see if you are able to complete the quest 'Settling Down' and go to the location where the game keeps crashing. If that works and you do not encounter the crash then I would recommend continuing the game on that save and also try completing the raid again.

However if it's not possible to load a previous save or if the issue persists, then can you try the troubleshooting steps in the support article here and try again.

If those steps don't help to resolve the issue then please submit a support ticket and attach your system files, dxdiag and msinfo and our Customer Support team will investigate this further for you and provide you with some further troubleshooting to try.

We would need to exhaust all PC troubleshooting before we can report the issue to the development team.

Have the same issue. Have not found any workaround, just crash.

I haven't raid yet, so problem is not in raid itself.

Hello AidenYarg! Thank you so much for reaching out as well, and for clarifying that you haven't participated in any raids yet. If you haven't done so, I highly recommend giving the steps given by Ubi-Keo a try.

Hi!!! I am facing this exact same issue. I have never crashed previously until I try to approach Black Peak from the North. Devs, please do something!!!

I have since avoided approaching Black Peak.

I've submitted a ticket 15093158 and already done the troubleshooting. It's something wrong with the game itself otherwise my PC would just keep crashing whenever I play the game but it only crashes when approaching Black Peak.
