"Topics per Page" setting not working correctly

I have it set to 20, but the number that actually gets shown is random. The first page of the feedback section only shows me five topics, while the other pages have from six to eighteen. I've tried other values but they don't seem to change anything. Am I missing something?
The issue only seems to be with Topics; the "Posts per Page" setting is working properly. -

I wanted to add that I'm using Chrome, but I did test it on Edge and it's the same there (with a fresh login/cookies). -
Hey there @CoastalGirl - thank you for reporting this issue to us! I am sorry to hear that the "topics per page" setting does not seem to be working correctly for you.
Could you possibly share a screenshot of what this looks like on your end? I can then compare it to what I can see on my side, to see whether the setting is for some reason taking into account threads that are not visible to you, but may be visible to moderators like myself if we have merged or moved them.
Regardless of whether it is a permissions issue or a display issue, I can then also get this reported to the forum development team for them to take a closer look into this.

Sorry it's tiny...I zoomed so it would be on one screen. That's page 2 of the forum feedback section. I seems like it's more frequent in this subforum for some reason, but it happens elsewhere, too.
It's not a big deal, just a little QoL thing. If it happened to be an easy fix, I'd welcome it.

Thanks for the image, @coastalgirl! It looks to be what I suspected (see below) - threads that we have moved for being in the wrong section or have been merged with others are still being counted for you, even though you cannot see them like moderators such as myself and @Ubi-Borealis can.
I'll raise this to the forum developers to see if this can be rectified in terms of independent viewing. I appreciate that having so few threads visible on a page when you have 20 selected as your preferred viewing amount is inconvenient! Thanks again for your report!Official Response -
@ubi-woofer Thanks for the info! That makes sense. It'd be nice if they could to tweak it, but if not, I'll live. Most of the other sections don't have very many moved/merged threads so the count usually isn't off by more than a post or two, which is fine. Here it was just so noticeable with all the mistakenly posted game feedback threads. Oh well, knowing what it is helps. Thanks again!
