In Odyssey there was an option to turn them off.. its missing in Valhalla . The Photos are full of spoilers i dont want to see
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello there,
I've merged together several threads about being unable to filter out Community Photos in the Misc map settings. This issue was marked as resolved in TU 1.0.4. As we have had no new reports that this issue persists, we will now be locking this thread.
If you encounter any trouble when using the map filters, or with the Community Photos feature, please don't hesitate to open a new thread so we can investigate further.
Thank you
@wildbreed In the map view if you open "Legend" and scroll down to the last section called "Misc" you can toggle it off.
@arjunu Ahh yes thank you. those Rectangular boxes are togglable. I feel this option to disable photos should be present on the Map screen Like how it was in Odyssey .. instead of hiding in under bottom of menus .
Yes it doesnt work. Disabling the Misc doesn't hide the photos.. its a Bug
Yeah what joke ... turned everything off in my HUD, do they had GPS in that time LOL ... so that I have to use the map to pull it out to see where I am AND [censored] , there I see that stupid photos, where important things are !
Get rid of that stupidity UBISOFT, normal players, don't need such immersion breaking childish things ...
Please fix that
THX
Ubi... Fix this. I really can't stand seeing these. I don't care one iota about other people's screenshots cluttering up my world map.
I hate it so much that I am actually logging into these atrocious new forums to voice my concerns...
Hello,
I could not disable the photo icon the world map. No offense but I really don't care about other player photo when I'm playing, I just want my map free of this unnecessary icon.
I try to desactivate photo mode in the game option, and to disable the icon in the legend option, but nothing work, the phto icon still appear on the world map, the only way is to select each of them manually and delete them.
Is there any way to fix this?
For the technical info, I play on PC, with mouse and keyboard, and I have the ultimate edition with season pass.
Regards
Can't hide Community photos from the world map as the "Misc" filter does not work as intended.
I really hate seeing the world map littered with spoiler community screenshots that block actual important things on the map.
Just wanted to mention it here so it can be added to the bug list.
How did this pass QA testing? Any tester worth their weight in gold would have IMMEDIATLY caught this. It's literally one of the very first things I noticed when beginning the game *mega facepalm*
This on its own is embarrassing, however what it represents is more insidious: if they so casually missed this glaring, easy-to-find bug, then what other more critical game systems have they completely missed/ignored. Something bad is going on in the Ubisoft offices methinks...
PLEASE fix the Map Legend so we can filter out pictures! The options is there but it currently doesn't work and is bugged!
@sinfuldantheman
No doubt that this is a messier launch than what we got with AC: Odyssey. Lots of issues with this one.
Yeah, they need to get this fixed before people get far enough in the game (though they probably already are) and start posting spoiler images. Not to mention as had to see as the glowy spots are on the map, the last thing we need is people's photos covering them up. It seems to work ONCE when you first launch the game as turning it off does remove the pictures, but then images start appearing while you are playing. Then toggling it on and off doesn't do anything after that.
In AC Odyssey you could easily turn of player photo markers on the World Map. How can you do this in Valhalla? Thanks!
Same issue, can't turn them off so it's spoiler central. Such a disappointment.
