The most "asinine" thing in this game is the fact that you stumble "toward" an enemy when they hit you.... Your back can be to them, and you're running away, and the hit they produce vis a vis arrow or handheld weapon, will make you stop, turn and stumble towards them..... It's absolutely insane! Nothing like it in any other game. Been a gamer for over 35 years now. Which team within the Assassin Creed development squad chose to make this feature in this way?
Incredibly frustrating to deal with such a lopsided and unrealistic advantage to the game that shouldn't be there.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Don't recall that ever happening.
Very strange.
I'm always moving, blocking, dodging, swinging, parrying, kiting, etc...I've never noticed that happening. I know when I get hit by a ballista, because it knocks me back, and any other heavy attacks will knock me back.
I tend to charge at every enemy and fight very aggressively. I'm rarely fleeing anything. Maybe that's why I never noticed.
@bonzaii42 It obviously shouldn't make you stumble towards an enemy if your character is moving away from the enemy/attack and not just backing up.
Because of Hollywood, most ppl do not realize a human, when shot, doesn't fly backward. It looks cool but doesn't happen in reality.
If you are leaning in a certain direction you will fall in that direction.
The faster the projectile is traveling the less effect it has on the body's movement; High-velocity bullets from a high-powered rifle pass straight through with little or no effect on the body's movement.
Actually, the old Westerns had it right more often than not; when a cowboy, standing on a roof, was shot, he fell forward and off the building.
I have the skills that prevent you from flinching after being shot so I haven't noticed this issue.
I'll turn them off and see if I can duplicate it.
