in the quest 'A cruel destiny' you're supposed to kill the big bad boss.
However, after a while, he storms you and runs into a pit with you over the shoulder.

This triggers a long loading screen for me and then loads in with my character on the ground, the boss just hunkering a bit away, everyone else looking at us.
Nothing happens, no controls react and there is no audio playing except for the background music for the fight.

Any workaround?

Tried verifying files, tried reloading earlier save etc etc

got the exact same bug.
Can't progress anymore because of it.
same long loadingtime after the grab, then i'm prone on the ground and can't do anything.
verified files, reloaded the entire bossfight, etc..... nothing works.
Game is basicly over until they fix it, and i wasn't even in England yet... it's still the tutorial chapter.

Found a workaround.
Put my settings to absolute minimum, low, adaptive vsync to 24hz, full screen etc.
That allowed me to go through.

@underspikey gonna give it a try. but that's just a weird workaround since everything else runs smooth like butter

@underspikey it realy worked. everything on low settings, vsync adaptive and 50% scaling did it for me.... afterwards i increased everything on very high again.

Character is stuck on the floor cant move no controls are working there's a enemy attacking me doing no damage. I cannot progress in this game anymore good fun.

I'am stuck at the second Bossfight.
After you drop him to half live, he's grabbing you, then it loads and after that i'am stuck on the ground and nobody is moving.

@furimi98 same Problem here, sometimes you and the boss stand there and sometimes i am still laying on the ground....

Confirm. Also run into the same problem. Reloading save doesn't work. After several tries, there was one time when I alt-tabbed out during the glitch portion to google the issue, and when i came back in, the cut-scene worked. I believe it's a cutscene glitch because the game seems to have to stop and load between scenes in a lot of places as well.

@radi3nt the same happened to me at the start of the game, when you play the first time. I hope there will be a patch today/tomorrow fixing this...

The same thing is happening to me.
Apparently there is supposed to be a cutscene but instead this happens.
If anyone got a solution please help.

Anyone else had problems where after dying to Kjotve and coming back you get completely stuck? The cut scene kicks in and I get brought back to life, then we're both there in shadow realm thing, he's not doing anything and I can't engage in combat.

Seems the only thing I can try to do is reload to the initial screen and attempt to fight him each time in super rage mode. Completely stuck and cannot proceed, this is quite unpleasant.

Max difficulty if it makes any difference (might have something to do with getting one-shot)

Hey there! We are aware of this issue and are looking into it. Another player found a workaround that worked for them:

• Changing the game settings to minimum
• Set adaptive synch to 24hz and fullscreen
