Anyone know how to fix this fps drop bug?

Every time I play , I normally just turn everything to the very lowest settings so that the game can run at its best and it starts of good and within like 20 - 40 minutes it just starts lagging massively, from game play to cut scenes and the only way to kind of fix the issue is if I restart the game but it happens again after 20 - 40 minutes of game play. Hoping someone could help me out thank you!

If you haven't already, I recommend trying these basic performance troubleshooting steps, as this helps to tackle common causes of low FPS and freezing in-game. In particular, please ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements, and that you disable any background applications. Background applications can conflict with game files, which can cause performance issues like the ones you're encountering.

Sorry about the double post Ive been looking for a way to fix this issue for some time and all I read is people having the same issue so its very scary, it seems like theres no fix for it? And I've tried everything you mentioned and its still the same and also I do meet minimum requirements as well.

@lmakavelix We all have the same problems with the game, very low fps, and game become unplayable. Thay probably cannot fix that problem, and it s not fer, we pay for the game but we cant play it. Very UNFAIR from Ubisoft!!!!!

@lmakavelix This issue is affecting a lot of players, including me since launch. I already opened a support ticket. Ubisoft is definitely aware of this problem. I hope a hotfix is released shortly.
I believe it has something to do with the in-game overlay however. Try disabling it in the Connect settings and see what happens. -
