Hey, after starting the new Wrath of the Druids DLC (before I had finished the base game) I got to the Blood Bond quest and escorting Barid back to his "castle." I decided part of the way back that I should finish the main game and pick up Gungnir and Mjolnir before going back, and save Wrath of the Druids for when I could stream it for my friends and we could react to it together. I fast-travelled back to England and finished the main game, overwriting my previous save files.
When I came back to Ireland to return to WotD I found Barid stuck at the graveyard and I was unable to interact with him (I had already spoken to him and cleared the ambush before fast-travelling away.) After save-quitting to see if that would fix it, Barid was suddenly back in Dublin, standing at the cliff next to his "castle." I was still unable to interact with him, though I was able to nudge him part of the way towards the open door of the longhouse. He then promptly power walked back to his spot on the cliff. Decided to record it for evidence and here we are. Video below, forgive the low quality, I only just reinstalled OBS and I wasn't going to make my settings flawless to record a single 3 minute video for a bug report.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello there @chicken4thewin!
Thanks for taking the time to report this issue. I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble progressing in "Blood Bond," and that Barid is stuck in place outside of the longhouse. Thanks for providing a detailed recall of events, as well as a video that shows Barid's current position.
I've passed your report along to the development team so they can take a closer look at this. If we require any additional information from you, we will reach out within this thread.
Thanks
Hello again @chicken4thewin!
The development team have been taking a closer look at your report, and they've asked me to reach out to you.
Would you be able to summon your mount and push into Barid with it? The development team would like to see if that triggers Barid to jump onto the mount. They're also interested in seeing if pushing him towards the longhouse with the mount triggers the scene to continue.
You mentioned that you've already tried nudging him part of the way. The developers are interested if seeing if using the mount changes the outcome.
If you're able to record a video that shows you doing this, including the outcome, that would be helpful for the ongoing investigation.
Thank you!
@ubi-borealis sorry about the late response. in my initial attempts I tried to use my mount to move Barid and even tried to back into him to prompt him to get on but to no avail. I will try again though
Thank you, @chicken4thewin! If Barid still refuses to move in "Blood Bond," please send us a video that shows you attempting this. The development team would be interested to see how Barid reacts to being pushed towards the longhouse, and it will be useful for their investigation into this issue
Hello @chicken4thewin,
Thank you for your video! I passed it along to the development team for further review.
Once we have an update, we are going to let everyone know through these forums.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this and if you have any additional questions, please let us know.
@ubi-mark no need to apologize, as frustrating as this is I understand that bugs and glitches happen and I genuinely appreciate you guys taking the time to actively help the playerbase. to be honest I've been having an absolute blast with Valhalla thus far and I think this is the only major issue I've had with the game. In my opinion it's probably the best game in the series thus far! thanks for the support and I hope you have a good day!
Thank you for your understanding, @chicken4thewin I'm glad to hear that you've been enjoying Assassin's Creed: Valhalla so far as well! Once we have any updates to share from the development team regarding this issue, we will reach out to you within this thread or share this information in the News & Announcements forum.
If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out
@shrreek how did you fix it? I'm still completely stuck and Barid is still just chilling in the exact spot. any attempt to move him leads to him just kinda going back to where he originally stood
Hello there @Shrreek & @chicken4thewin!
I'd like to reach out to you both with an update from the investigation. The development team have shared that they will be deploying a fix for this issue in a future update. We don't yet have a confirmed ETA for when this update is to be released. Once we have more definite information, it will be shared within the News & Announcements forum, so please keep an eye out here for the most up-to-date information!
Thanks!
@chicken4thewin Hello friend, it's been a while since I played, but I played a little bit today and the error continues. It is frustrating not to fix this Bug until today.
@ubi-borealis It's frustrating that you don't fix this Bug until today. I don't feel like playing this game anymore, because I can't improve on it due to the BUG. And there's still no prediction of when the bug will be fixed, it's a shame. I shouldn't have bought the game, I wanted my money back.
@ubi-borealis counter to what shreek said I haven't been playing Valhalla lately because of the bug but at the same time I very much look forward to the fix and continuing my conquest of the north eastern atlantic
Hello there!
@Shrreek - I'm sorry that this issue has prevented you from progressing further in "The Wrath of the Druids" expansion. I'd like to reassure you that as soon as we have a confirmed release date for the future update, we will let you know within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum.
If you purchased the content from the Ubisoft Store, please note that the purchase of downloadable content is final, and is not eligible for a refund. If you purchased the content from another retailer, you will need to contact them for further assistance with your refund request.
@chicken4thewin - We hope to have more information to share with you regarding this fix in the future! Please keep an eye out within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum for the most up-to-date information!
Thanks!
I have purchased the DLC and upon attempting the first quest, Blood Bond.
I followed Barid to the long house but could not interact with him once there.
He is now just standing in the middle of the market and I still cannot interact or "follow him" as the quest objective suggests
@Ubi-Borealis
That's a pretty average response about the refund policy. how long is the cooling off period as I bought the DLC a few days ago and have already encountered this glitch which is affecting the whole point of the expansion.
Is there a date for the fix yet?
Hello @Guyprock,

I can assure you that the development team are working on this issue and as soon as it's resolved, we are going to let everyone know through the patch notes.
