I was able to quick travel to the Port Auley trading post before I had ever visited it the first time. The icon on the map indicated that I couldn't quick travel there but when I tried it let me. I was teleported right in the middle of the post with druids attacking me from all sides.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hi Vikings!

After thorough investigation, the development team has confirmed that they are unable to continue looking into a potential fix for this particular issue as they must focus on issues that have a comparatively higher impact on the gameplay experience.

I understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for and can only apologise.

I will mark this thread as resolved and lock it.

Basically I can fast travel to this outpust even though I've never been there. So I basically tp straight into the fight.

    Some things to note:
-I have discovered the region around the outpost, this doesn't work for other outpust that are hidden behind fog.
-Game greys out the control option to fast travel. It says that ,,Fast Travel is unavaible". However I can still press the button and fast travel there.

    Hello @Argush07,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

This sounds a bit strange, to be honest. Can I kindly ask you to provide us with a short video of this occurring, so we can have a look into it?

Many thanks and if you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

    Thanks for response @ubi-mark

Here you can find the video:

Sorry for Polish version. I think this is a system issue and not the localisation thus you should be able to understand what's going on.

In the video you can find that after i sync-up in Durrow. The Athlane trading post becomes somehow ,,active" and I can fast travel there. I believe that every sync point triggers such event for every trade post in radius. Athlane is in vision radius of Durrow so I think that's why it triggers. It also triggers for other sync-points paired with other trade posts.

    Cheers ❤

    Hello there @Ztupidity!

Thanks for sharing your report with us. I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered issues fast traveling to trade posts in-game. The development team have been notified of this issue, and are currently investigating further.

If you're able to include a video that shows this issue when you fast-travel to Port Auley before restoring it as a trade post, this would be very helpful for the investigation.

    Thanks! 😊

@ubi-borealis I experience this as well on PS5. I don't have any recordings of it though. The fast travel icon was greyed out and I held X to fast travel. I didn't expect it to work. Next thing I know I'm in the middle of the Port Auley trading post with green fog surrounded by Druids.

    Hi,

I'm going through the Ireland DLC and I was trying to mark the Athlone trade post as a waypoint. Instead of marking it as a waypoint, I realized I was able to fast travel to it despite me never visiting it before, the outpost still being occupied by enemies and it being marked as "Fast Travel Unavailable" on the map. I've not cleared out the trade post yet and I haven't got the deed or anything, but I can still fast travel to it and I've done it multiple times now to see if the error is repeatable. When I fast travel there I will spawn in the middle of the trade post surrounded by enemies.

I can't fast travel to other trade posts I haven't claimed/visited yet, so this is probably a bug.

@ubi-keo Hello this is happening to me as well on the PlayStation 5. I am also able to fast travel to unclaimed trade posts in Wrath of The Druids. It's kind of tempting to fast travel directly to them instead of traveling by a mount or foot. To me it takes the fun out of it so just letting you guys at Ubisoft know though I see you've already had plenty of comments about it but I figured you'd want to know how many people this is happening to. Keep up the great work thank you guys!
