Save files not detected in offline mode

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla doesn't recognize my save files when I try to play the game in offline mode. The save files themselves are still stored on my computer but when I boot up the game in offline mode, all of my in-game settings are reset, and the "continue" and "load game" menus disappear from my game, as if I was starting the game for the first time. I can only start a new game but doing so corrupts my existing save files. If I go to online again, then the game will work normally again. So whenever I lose my internet connection or Ubisoft servers are down, I cannot play Valhalla at all. It is very annoying.
I've been trying to contact Ubisoft Support about this problem too but unfortunately the support website is so broken that I can't use it. I cannot open a support ticket and I cannot start a live chat because all the options there are just greyed out. I can only reach Support via Twitter or Facebook. -
@crazybone992 I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues loading your saves in offline mode.
Can you confirm if you have the latest game update installed? You also mentioned that the saves are not detected in offline mode but if you start a new save in offline mode it corrupts your existing save files. Could you please explain what you mean by this? Do your existing saves then show as corrupted when you go back into online mode?
