Same thing happened with me awhile back. I'm hoping they get a fix for it, because I'm getting tired of that unfinished quest just hanging out.

@stretchwiles Same problem here on XboxOne. I know she's supposed to suggest we look for the leader, and I can shoot the ladder and go find him rolling about on the ground upstairs, but nothing happens. She won't talk to me. Tried all the usual things from FAST TRAVEL away and back, to rebooting the console, but no joy.

I do wonder of you basically have to arrive at the same time as her to trigger the cutscene ? I seem to recall I was either early or late.

Ok gang i've found a solution. First you need to get a dead body you can carry to the church, taking it on your horse caused my first dead body to glitch out but you can carry it by hand. Then you have to throw it at her until she is pushed all the way to burned alter. When she reaches it the next part will be available. You're welcome!

so Wulfhilda from the prey and the high hall quest is still stuck in the middle of the church and won’t do anything. All it says is to follow her and she’s still stuck even after the update.

This worked for me I started the quest about 15 hours in and just found this at 80ish hours in.

Hola, DLC Leyenda de Beowulf no se puede progresar..... en la iglesia cuando tengo que seguir a la monja el objetivo sigue siendo la monja con la cual no puedo interactuar y el personaje que se encuentra en la parte superior de la iglesia debería tener icono de dialogo, pero no lo tiene.... entonces no puedo continuar con la misión y se quedo detenida …. reinicie, cambie de personaje.... ya voy mas de 50 horas de juego como para comenzar de nuevo porque esa misión se bugueo..... necesito una solución ya que pague mucho dinero por el season pass y no lo estoy pudiendo jugar.

Hello, DLC Legend of Beowulf cannot progress ..... in the church when I have to follow the nun the target is still the nun with whom I cannot interact and the character that is in the upper part of the church It should have a dialog icon, but it doesn't ... so I can't continue with the mission and it got stopped…. reboot, change character .... I'm already playing more than 50 hours to start again because that mission got bugged ..... I need a solution since I paid a lot of money for the season pass and I'm not being able to play it .

I have the same issue. The nun (Wulfhilda) is standing in the hall of the church like she is waiting for me but does not go to the altar with the candles. The quest icon is still above the nun but interaction is neither possible with her nor with Hrothgar.
The issue happened with patch 1.02 on XBOX Series S, no change after patch 1.04.

@steelminatto Greetings and many thanks for posting about this bug you've encountered in "Pray In the High Hall". This issue has been reported to our teams and is currently under investigation. In the meantime, would you be able to post a video showing that you are not able to speak with Wulfhilda in the church please? I'd also like to ask if throwing a body into Wulfhilda resolves this issue for you or not, since some players have mentioned this as a workaround.

I’m still having this issue, i had it earlier in the game and didn’t want to let it stop me from playing so i continued. i came back to the mission after i beat the game and explored everything but she is still locked.
