@garbo3 Some of that new armour looks great. They seem to have listened and made them look a bit more functional and appropriate to the period at least. And I'm glad to see a new hairstyle and beard in there too.

All looking cool so far. Thank you for sharing. And you're right, the new horses look pretty cool too.

@garbo3 I was dissapointed when I find out new Knight ISU set is reskin of Nilfheim set just with new helmet, weapons and perks, what the hell...

I'm not into all of these cosmetics, but the artists that work on this game do a good job.

You can see where a sizeable chunk of their budget goes. Impressive visuals.

They might want to spend more on fixing technical issues, though.

I just want all BLACK gear that has good stats.

Seriously, having to run 3/2 build just to make bow useful is NOT how you should have to play.

Make an actual ARCHER/BOW user set, in all Black.

And please get away from the God aweful monsterous shoulder pads...

I saw the leaks and i dont like what i saw. Only the horses are nice,gear arent very nice.
I am very disappointed from this game. It mustnt be 100% authentic but this game have to much fantasy items.
No short swords, knights, ride on lions through england...What??? Mythologie, flamed weapons is ok but this game is far from close to be authentic.
For me they do it in Origins and Odyssey better. Have fantasy also but not so much and easier to avoid it.
And the many many small and big bugs,raining,DLC popup every minutes,AI from enemies is bad, graphic,sound isnt also very good for a AAA Title, etc. killed the game for me.
I never preorder a game again, i was hyped cause i like vikings and i was addicted to Origins and Odyssey.
I really regret to buy this game. I never do this befor. I will finish it but with less fun then the other games.

@stevez_pun saw a video that says there will be spoiler so better get some runes for range attack plus fire resistance and practice with the bow.
Aswell we will be able to collect 7 new armor sets ingame,new tattoos and hairstyles. Whats coming to the helix store I dislike very much.
2 new river raids and some kind of one hand half moon looking one handed short sword,plus other weapons I don't recall
It says the DLC brings more content than expected, that is quite a big DLC.

Am excited to have new things to do but am gonna stay with my actual armour as it works for me . Weapons too. Am happy with my built .

I saw this and my honest answer is crap. I dont want play Zelda,Diablo or Fenix.
I want Viking Age. I am really [censored]. Odyssey and Origins have ISU gear but they are in the story and more or less ok.
The most gears are close to authentic and less fantasy.
Odyssey have also the Swat gear. I play there with a epic gear with engraving, better then legendary. I love to build my char like i want, in Valhalla you cant do it. Map is very huge,maybe to many gear but was ok. I like to grind and collect.
Valhalla is full of fantasy stuff, ugly gear, shoulder pads like football player,now wings and a weapon- cant list everything. I use 2 axes and one hang in the air. I must vomit XD
Skyrim have better gear.
Origins and Odessey arent perfect, but have less bugs and glitches.

@stevez_pun I wish they allowed us to remove the awful shoulder pads.
There's a leak that says next AC is going to be linear ,not free open world. They changing the franchise completely.
I will wait until I see reviews and feedback from players . I just keep my mind open and take it as a game named AC but its nothing to do with the franchise anymore apart from keeping the name for marketing purposes. Leak says expected for 2023. If I am still able to play then I will wait at least 6 months to have enough feedback to make a decision.
