Wondering if anyone can enlighten me. Considering I've been playing the base game and spent considerable time and effort acquiring armor, weapons, skills and everything else, when new DLCs become available and I purchase to include in the game what happens to all those things I've acquired? Do I get to keep them for when I'm playing the new DLCs or do I lose everything and have to build again from scratch? I'm hoping I get to keep and play with whatever because it will be quite a chore to start from scratch again just to play the new DLCs. Can someone confirm for me please?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@davidtsmith333 The DLC's are just content added onto and concurrent to the main game, meaning you carry on from what you've got, assuming you still have a savegame, and keep everything you have.

Normally DLC's in the past have had a level requirement and stuff, and so I assume the first DLC in Valhalla may require a particular power level or something until you're able to play it.

Basically, yes, you keep everything. It's just more of what you've been doing so far.

@orcbeard92 Thank you. So glad to hear that. Looking forward to the DLCs then and for sure will be purchasing them as I've been thoroughly enjoying the game (well except for the frustratingly tedious "puzzles" which I always have to follow a Youtube walkthrough to navigate and get through. I actually hate those). I love the combat and everything else. I'm already at highest power level and have the best armour sets and weapons in the game including Thor's armor set, Excalibur, Odin's spear and now Thor's hammer so I'm glad to hear I'll be able to keep whatever I have acquired. Cheers.
