    I scoured the land for another bearded axe. I was bored of the same 2. I have OCD so when I play games I use whats aesthetically appealing. Just like how I play Kingdom hearts if I don't like the way it looks I don't use It. for my case I like the raiders axe and varins axe. I have the housecarls axe but I don't like the way it looks so I never use it. so when I caught wind of another bearded axe while on the internet that was available without having to spend money, I was all over it. I didn't look up the location of it cause that would be like cheating. It took me 2 days but I eventually found it. the fyrd axe. I liked the way it looked, and figured it would only look cooler upgraded. and with the 2 days it took me I had plenty of resources to do so. I went to the blacksmith but the only thing that got a new appearance that day was my facial expression. now it resembled disappointment. I spent 2 days on this!? I was very upset, (still am.) what triggers me even more so is that if I were to upgrade it more it would eventually be a mythical tier Item. it doesn't even remotely look mythical in the slightest. and that too triggers my OCD. I just simply hope that in an update everything can have a new appearance when upgraded. the fyrd axe is just the example that upsets me the most. I do hope that everything including armor will have a new appearance.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @majora404 When it comes to gaming I too have some sort of that OCD of yours. You have my sympathy and it is okay to be disappointed, but sadly many things in this world is imperfect and we cannot have everything to our liking. If Ubisoft indeed adds more upgrade appearance? Great. If not, well there is nothing lost.

    Seriously, sometimes we just have to learn to accept imperfections and wasted effort and move on; letting go of them means letting yourself free from that burden.

    Sincerely

    ======

    Don't worry about it. I spent days wasting my time doing certain things in this game that I would never do again if I started over. It's part of learning a new game. It's unavoidable. That's why I never play video games twice. Once is enough.

    Playing on the hardest settings, there were certain boss fights in this game that I don't ever want to see again. I spent countless hours on a few of them. Looting and exploring 100% of the map I would never do again, either. 100% completion OCD can feel like a flaw sometimes. It's completely unnecessary and can be considered a huge waste of time by many gamers.

    I see sinking extra time into a video game a positive because if anyone has any questions, you'll know a lot more about the game then that guy who brags about how he 'beat the game' in 17 hours.

    Gamers are so impatient.

    @katzenkrimis71 Hello.
    Just a piece of advice. We need to learn to accept and digest what sadly life throw at us and trust me can be a lot of crap that's puts your life upside down. I seen several of your post mentioning your OCD.
    I got it too,but thats the smallest of my symptoms of a huge constellation of them as my neurosurgeon said once. Honestly I am sorry you suffer from that issue but you need to stop mentioning it in many of your posts. Is a way to go over it.
    I suffer from a rare brain disease since 2015 that my neurologist hasn't been able to address yet. Plus spine stenosis after many years of horse riding . If I start mentioning all the symptoms I got would never end. Sadly had to leave my passion and job as horse rider because of this crap. Been the last 2 years stuck in a room I call my dungeon 😆.
    My sickness affects my memory and coordination very badly but I am as stubborn as a little pony. God the Cairns and anomalies trigger my symptoms badly still am getting the platinum as love this game and thank god gave me 446 hours of virtual life and superb enjoyment despite all bugs.
    The delay of DLC was really upsetting for me as cant play 2 games at same time or I get confused with combat mechanics due my memory loss. I used to speak French ,German and am even forgetting my mother language wich is not English after 8 years out of Spain. I am 45.
    Chill man,
    you need to accept it and stop mentioning it all the time. Trust me. Is 1st step to go over it.
    ✌ peace

    @majora404 You can transmog the item at the blacksmith back to the original look if you don't like the upgraded look.
    And when a game feels like work it's time too search for something else.

    @garbo3 oh yeah no I understand. however I have only posted about this issue once here, and then I opened up a support ticket with ubisoft directly. so am I not alone in this issue? (lol) Im certainly not trying to use OCD as an excuse. I know its just a game, I just wanted to participate in a community of fellow gamers such as myself.
