    Some windows take a long time to appear,

    If you have a lengthy topic title scrolling through the field where you enter your text pulls on the side menus, I think the sliding side menus should be disabled when creating a post, cause everyone has a back button

    When you swipe to open one of the 2 side menus I believe that swiping in the opposite direction or hitting the back button on your phone should close it. For example if I swipe left to open the side menu thats on the right, I believe swiping right should close. But it doesnt, and instead of closing It, swiping to the right just opens up the side menu on the left and now you got all kinds of stuff in the way lol. So far the only thing that closes the side menus is tapping in the center of the screen. It's like the side menus think you're trying to click on a post or something and then after that they will go away.

    And one more thing, while on my phone , creating a post, like this one, my keyboard almost takes up half of my screen, I assume it's the same for everyone. However there is barely any room at all in this field I'm currently entering my text into while my keyboard is up. It is so small and squished in between my keyboard and all these icons that are directly above it underneath the topic title section. May I suggest moving all of these icons down below the tag section so people can see more of the text they're entering? I recommend atleast putting them at the bottom of this field, doesnt necessarily need to be under the tags section but atleast under this text field

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey @Deaddwin, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our new Discussions forums with us! I'll address each of your points below - please do let me know if I missed anything, or can assist further. 🙂

    Regarding the first behaviour you describe, where a long topic title is at hand - are you able to provide a screen recording demonstrating the behaviour you mean, as I do not quite understand it? I have however passed forward your feedback that during post creation, disabling the side menus would be of benefit. Thank you!

    I was able to reproduce the issue whereby the opposite menu opens when swiping to close the one already open, so I reported this to the forum developers for them to investigate. They have so far been able to reproduce this as well, and are working to resolve the issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

    Finally, with regard to your last point - can you please clarify for me whether you are using the mobile version of the site when composing posts, or forcing your phone to display the full desktop page? And can you please confirm whether you are referring to thread creation, or just replying to a thread? As the layout of the reply page is different for each, so I just want to make sure I pass on the right feedback. I could reproduce some issues when trying to create a new thread, and have forwarded my report on this to the developers already, but would just like to check you're describing that same behaviour. Thank you!

    @ubi-woofer I'm on mobile

    When creating a post, not a reply, and the topic is lengthy and you want to scroll back through to make sure everything is typed right, the side menus act like they want to open. It's like my phone cant tell I'm trying to scroll left/right and instead pulls on the side menus.

    As for the other thing, again I'm on mobile. And with all these icons above where I'm typing right now the space where I'm entering my text is really small and squished between them and my keyboard lol. That's all I was trying to say, I got way too technical I think 😆 . Personally I think all those symbols would fit better and make more sense down below where im typing right now, with the tags you can select.

    @Ubi-Woofer ONLY WHEN creating a post tho. Right now where this is just a reply, with no option to select tags, it doesnt seem as cramped

    Thank you for these additional clarifying comments, @Deaddwin! I've added them to my reports to the developers, so that they can continue looking into these issues. As far as I know, this issue has so far only been reported on Android devices, but I've asked a player who reported issues in a separate thread if they're an iOS user to know if all mobile site users are affected.

    Glad to know that the reply UI is less cramped, and more usable as well. Thank you! 🙂
