I found a glitch which messes up the animations of weapons. It seems to be triggered by dismounting from a moving horse, and what it does is that alters the animations of Eivor when they are hold a one-handed weapon on the right hand and a two-handed weapon or a heavy shield on the left hand. The bug can be triggered while using other weapon combinations (unarmed, dual wielding two one-handed weapons, or two two-handed weapons), but it will not be visible until you use a one-handed weapon on the right hand and a two-handed weapon or heavy shield on the left. I show in the video that the bug is caused specifically from dismounting from a moving horse and not just dismounting a stationary horse. I am on the newest patch, and I've seen this bug in the game since launch, but I just figured out the exact cause of the bug (dismounting from a moving horse).

I've noticed a few people with the - A wise friend bug, however not sure if mine is strictly related to that one alone.

Valka like most people's bugs is stuck walking up the longhouse to try and meet Randvi and Randvi is not there - I have built her hut as suggested by others with no fix sadly.


Randvi is meanwhile standing at the Alliance map with Ceolwulf, again not interactable. I've finished the Hunted quest after sparing our "friend" at the battle and have burned the scroll. - I think some bug occured here but I cannot remember for sure. - The quest however is marked as completed. I do not however have the Reporting on Ledcestceshire quest that I believe is supposed to conclude the saga with me walking into the longhouse. Rendering me in a bit of a rock and hard place where i'm stuffed.

Through my own misgivings I went and did sidequests thinking one of those would maybe make Randvi speak to me, and now these have all overuled my autosaves so I cannot return to a quest prior Hunted.


All in all - i've really been enjoying the game, however a friend came across a game-breaking bug during a Prodigal Prince and had to restart, and now i've found myself at a game-breaking bug here, and as much as I enjoy the game. I don't particularly fancy doing another 14 hours of unnecessary gameplay to return here.
