i tried purchasing EU version, uplay blocks this and redirects to RU store. sic!

@ubi-swaggins yes, that is regional restriction. RU store sells cut version. English interface is not supported in RU version.

@ubi-swaggins It is. And while for those who are sufficiently fluent it's all right just to turn the subtitles off, when it comes to some activities in the game like Flyting, it's just... Well, we aren't all interpreters, not trained in simultaneous interpretations. The russian interface and subtitles conflict with what we hear in the English voiceover, and many aspects of the game become damn near unplayable because of that.

And the translation is not ideal itself. E.g. what is a "Carbon Ingot" in the English version becomes "A piece of coal" in the Russian one for some reason xD.

It would be really great if we had an option to get English interface and subtitles as well. I've played all the previous AC games in full English and I was astonished to see I cannot do that now with Valhalla.

@ubi-swaggins Will you add interface and subtitles or not? I just bought the EU version for 110€ on epic store.. And I want to know if I can savely refund the 110€ Version and know that I get the interface and subtitles in english as well

Yes, you can.

And a tip for those that struggle with rhyme battles - save abuse.

They will not give us full English text, they will say the same, we will get only what mentioned on store page. All we can ask - a patch, to turn on English subtitles only for fluting. Its not unplayable, you can read subtitles and choose based on that, but you can't understand "rhythm" and English audio on top of that is misleading.

even if i want to buy EU version with full English support, i cant do this from Russia. ubisoft store redirects me to russian region and forces me to buy Russian cut version. this is ridiculous.

I have russian version of game, i want to have english voice in game with russian subtitres. How can i do this ? i try in menu, but it's only russian to choose in options. I try in ubisoft connect, but its same there.

@zabrata2 i found such opportunity after update game but now there is no dialogs at all. i choose English language with russian subtitres

Give us the option of having the game full in English.

Some people live in Russia for Professional Reasons,
They don't speak Russian, the speak English and you are also restricting the availability of the the European Store.

It appears, its monetization thing really. Not content with cheap crop for russian hicks - get subscription on Ubstuff+. They magically "fix" Eng VO in Rus version just after russkies figured it out on their own.
So, no, there will be no interface/subs. You have to by whole other regional version (only from "other one" retailer, apparently).
Is this company's business model not quite ethical ? Are y'all here for gore and pillage ? All good questions.

Please make the English language fully available

Yea absolutely not playing with Russian text. Either someone releases an unofficial patch or I wait for not-so-legal copy. I hope it is ethical for me to do so as I own this on Uplay.
