I've had this issue since I started the game. Just came back to stavanger after 110 hours 314 power and the npc is still dead. Just standing there and I can't interact with it.

I'm about 80 hours deep into Valhalla and ever since I started, I have not been able to access the flyting in Norway. I thought it may be triggered later on so I just carried on with the story in hopes it would activate.

I've recently returned to Norway and discovered there is a dead body behind the male that starts the flyting. After reading a bit, I've come to realize that the dead body is actually the second NPC that the flyter is interacting with to start the flyting scenario.

Anyone else having this problem? Is it able to be fixed as it's going to be the one thing that stops me from getting 100% and I don't really want to do another 80 hour play through.

Has anyone else have the above issue? I have literally finished every zone/district but cant speak to the very last flyting mission in Scavenger (ps5)

I Attacked soldiers near this flyting spot in Stavanger, Norway and somehow the flyting man you have to talk to died. Tried fast traveling back to the same spot. Even completed 50% of England then travelled back. I noticed more people had this problem as well. I could not respond on that portion of the site. I tried to but the website kept reloading the forum section over and over so I made a message of my own. It wouldn’t bug, (no pun intended) me so much if it wasn’t a trophy you had to collect. (You know I’m trying to collect every little thing in this game for you Ubisoft ) I tried giving photos, but it won’t allow me to. I love you Ubisoft. #bringDesmondback #hisSacrificeWasNotWorthIt because of the events here in Valhalla.

@ubit00n think of the elderly, thats me when it comes to technology. I just play the games and am terrible with tecknology. took me a long time to work out how to get on these forums lol. Its simple, the guy you walk upto in scavenger just wont respond to you. he just stands there. ive found quite a few others with the same problem online but no solutions. very frustrating!

I've had this problem since I first encountered the npc in the beginning of the game. Now 180 hrs in everything else is done and this is the final thing holding me back from the platinum trophy.

@mr_good_cat7 I have exactly the same problem. A lot of NPCs are dead and behave like ragdolls at my settlement (Reda, all my vikings next to my boat, young boy at the fisherman hut). It really prevents me for going forward, especially I cannot do any raids as I am the only one on my boat !

I really hope Ubisoft developpers will fix that problem as it is really getting annoying.

This and the daughters bug are keeping me from Platinum.

@palmatj Yep, still the same issue, hoped the new patch will do something, but nah. Don't really want to collect everything again and level up for Steinnbjorn just to have the platinum... but looks like there won't be another way..............

@jpnaquet OMG.... that's even worse lol, how in the flipping hell can something like this happen? They are Essential NPCs as developers call them, they shouldn't even die, that's why you can't harm them, not even with an exploding arrow!

@mr_good_cat7 Pathetic... that's the only word that comes to mind now.

I am having the same issue even after the new 1.10 patch. The npc is just standing there and their is no way to interact with it.
