really still no help from ubisoft smh, i think this might be the last game of theirs i play

I have been unable to start The First Night of Samhain quest, where you go to find Gunnar in Glowecestre. Once Quest is activated you go to find Gunnar and use Odin Sight and he does not pulse green as he should. You talk to him about his love life and he does not prompt you to a mission or nothing. I can no longer proceed to play AC Valhalla as I've pledged every other city and completed them and every time I come back to this one it won't work. Please help ASAP

I can try and figure all this out for you. I'm not very tech savy, but i'll try, because it's quite annoying I can't finish the game.

hey, it worked. I just had to put my cloak on. Sorry about that.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Been trying to get this mission going for 3 days now and I'm max power level 400 and can't go on with anything else. It has nothing to do with a cloak...

Hi there, same thing is happening to me. Once I talk to him he just stays still and doesn't take me anywhere. This is the last place I need to do so need this sorted asap. Seen your comment about having to put the hood on but didn't work for me.

Any help will be appreciated

Hello can somone please help me with this it wont let me knock on the doors it says locked no one home I've been trying to do this mission all week its really ruining the game for me atm

Right now really looked forward to this game and its ruined

After pledging with Randvi I tried to track the quest but while it said it was tracking it it only showed up in the menus not in the game. Then I followed what it said in the menu and went to West Glowecestrescire to find Gunnar. There was no prompt to activate my raven, but after running around the town I found him without any prompts. I went through his dialogue and at the end he said follow me but then just stayed in place after. I was able to repeatedly speak to him and pick different dialogue choice even though you weren’t supposed to be able to.
Please fix soon as it’s the only arc left for me before the ending.

@ek6669 I’ve had the same issue for weeks. No fixes yet. I’ve tried all the back door resets I can think of. I doubt the new patch will do anything, literally can’t finish the game.

I have the same issue - patch 1.10 solved nothing...

Cannot proceed with the First Night of Samhain quest. After finding Gunnar and going through all 3 dialogue options, he doesn't move and stands in 1 place. Tried fast travelling, pledging to other territories, gender change, restarting the dame, etc, nothing is working. This is at least the 5th post about the same issue and no official response. When I am in the village and go to knock on the houses it just says "locked.no one home" any suggestions?
