I got the quest but when I go to the location nothing happens. How do you activate the cut scene?

you need to activate the quest you have in your questlog and then it should go off once your at the pit.

@asgardian02 it finally worked. I reloaded the save 3 times and I jumped off the stage into the pit. Maybe that is what I was doing wrong.

I can't believe they added a whole quest that's just a cutscene and a piece of gear.

@asgardian02 I have the very same issue, I have activated it in my quest log and when I arrive at the pit nothing happens.

Stand on the wooden boards and focus in the pit. If this does not work try reloading a previous save and try again. Good luck!

You should focus on the cage to continue mission.

Although I don't really understand the purpose of this mission. Wasn't this supposed to be ingame since the start? I mean... it's Ragnar's story, and it's only one 5 minute mission 3 months after release? For an item? WTH is this?

@axlslak23 It was bugged. The devs had no idea it was not triggering till it was mentioned to them.

@axlslak23 I have done so, i read the scroll then hit the pit kill the snakes jump in and nothing happens period, I know what should happen but no matter where I stand or click nothing....
Reloaded previous save files, and it's the same, like the other issues I encountered it will work itself out eventually.

It's not working for me. I have even meditated to change the time of day to see if that works. I get the Focus ring / highlight on the cage but nothing happens.

@el_manotas There's a button for focusing, not just rotating camera. On the PS system is left3, don't know on PC or Xbox.

Ive gone up to the snake pit, gone into it and the cut scene for the quest to start won't load up, Any ideas why?

When going to Ragnar's pit the cutscene reconstruction of Ragnar's death will not trigger or even work.

AC Valhalla’s new river raids update gave me a new quest called “The Lost Drengr of Ragnar Lothbrok”. I have already killed the other Drengr. Followed the marker to Ragnar’s Pit. Killed the snakes and went into the pit. Quest said to reconstruct his death with a green spot flashed on the cage. Nothing more. No matter how many times I focus, reposition myself, leave and return. Same outcome. Nothing. Quest is bugged and it is extremely frustrating. Fix it.

@leoraptor1979 I had to spam focus about 50 times from different locations in the pit before it finally worked
