In Buckingham, I followed the flying paper, it wouldn't let me collect it, then it vanished, it isn't on the world map anymore, and I didnt get credit for it.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there,

Following the release of TU 1.2.2, the development team have marked this issue as resolved.

If you are still encountering trouble with the flying paper in Buckingham, please don't hesitate to update this thread so we can take a closer look. Please include a video which shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the right-hand corner of the main game menu.
    • You are unable to collect the flying paper in Buckingham.

We can then pass these reports along to the development team for further investigation.

    Thanks! 😊

I was in Buckingham and when I went to pick up the tattoo page on the roof of the long house. The page did not move and I picked it up and it did not count as a completion. I reloaded the save and the same thing happened again. Now I have everything 100% in the area except it does not say it on the map or the artifact bar

    Hey there,

I am sorry to hear you have not been able to collect this flying paper.

Can you provide a screenshot of roughly where on the map this was?

Hello, I have completed this section of ac Valhalla however it did not recognize that I got all the artifacts. I did go back to each location and found that the flying papers in Buckingham on top of the longhouse are in their starting position but when you approach they do not move, cannot be shot or swing at, picked up, tried different positions. The “x” is there indicating that it was completed and collected but yet they remain. Please help all my other sections besides asguard have been completed.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm standing on top of the long house in Buckingham, with the paper icon showing 0 m away, but there is no paper. I have not completed this one yet, so the paper should be there, but it's not. I've looked at youtube videos, and the paper is supposed to be at the crest of the building in the middle, which is exactly where I'm standing.

Actually, I looked up which tattoo pattern you get for completing this flying paper, and it is in my inventory, so I did complete it, but the system is not recognizing that I completed it. I've gotten all the artifacts in Oxenefordscire, but it still shows I'm missing one, and it's the flying paper in Buckingham that I received the tattoo pattern for, but for some reason the game is still showing that I don't have it.

I am showing in game that I am missing 1 piece of wealth from East Anglia, but it doesn't show on the map, so I looked up all the wealth locations online and I have "x"s for all 16 places. So the game isn't crediting me for 1 piece. I'm one of those people that like to 100% a game, and there's no way I can with this bug.

Similarly, in Oxenefordscire, there is a paper in Buckingham (the one on top of the Longhouse) that it shows I still need to collect. When I go there, the paper isn't there. When I looked in my inventory for the tattoo item that you get from that particular paper, it is in my inventory, but the game is showing I haven't collected it.

This is very frustrating. Any chance of this getting fixed? Even if I have to collect the wealth and paper again, I don't mind, I just want it to show as complete. I'm playing on an Xbox Series X.

Got the same issue. At the right spot but no paper. May have already collected it but the game hasn't recognised it

    Hi all,

I have merged all your posts to create a megathread. I have reported this to the dev team to investigate.

@acedink If you are still experiencing issues with this can you also check your tattoo inventory to see if you own the 'Midgard Scheme Head Tattoo'. Could you also provide a video to show the paper is no longer visible and the artifact counter on the map has not been accounted for.

@binskies As you posted about this sometime ago, can you confirm if the issue persists? If so could you please provide a video to show that the paper is no longer visible and the artifact counter on the map has not been accounted for.

@Red-knight666 Your issue is slightly different as the papers are still visible for you. If this is still an issue could you please provide a video and confirm if you have also received the 'Midgard Scheme Head Tattoo'.

@murderface1091 Can you please check your tattoos to see if you own the 'Midgard Scheme Head Tattoo' as this would indicate that it has been collected. There should also be a cross on the map to indicate this. Could you provide a video showing the map for that region, the location where the flying paper should be and your tattoo inventory.
