As of yesterday, 5th April, I am experiencing issues with dialogue audio. It seems to have only started happening since I installed Windows 10 feature update 20h2. it could be coincidence but didn't have the issue the last time I played the game a few days ago.
It seems to be direct dialogue audio that is missing (when you engage someone), if you walk past someone in conversation (i.e. Alvis flyting) the audio is fine. I also found there are some movement sounds missing as well, footsteps and fabric shifting sound.
When talking to someone, the subtitles appear and the mouths of the characters are moving, just no audio.
Next I will try a full reinstall of the game and, I'm looking into the possibility of rolling back from 20h2.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and/or can suggest other things to try?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Update: I have reinstalled the game from scratch and it made no difference. I also uninstalled 20H2 but the issue still exists.
I was wondering if this could be my game save but i tried loading a previous save but still the same.
UPDATE: Fixed
Even though I rolled back the Windows updates I believe when they were installed it changed something in the audio settings.
I found that when I run an audio test for surround sound, only the left and right channel was working, the rest were not. I tried a number of things within windows to resolve it but nothing worked.
I am using a Logitech G933 so, I downloaded and installed the latest Logitech G Hub which resolved the problem. It seems Windows updates knocked it out and updating to the latest version of G Hub fixed issue.
With the latest G Hub release date being 2021-03-16, I suspect Logitech are already aware of the issue? However, I couldn’t find any mention of it in the release notes.
Hopefully this is useful for someone else experiencing the same issue.
