So I did the initial Asgard quests by drinking the potion and doing that quest line. When that was done I head back to my settlement where I'm sent on a quest to gather more herbs for another potion which I do. It tells me to try the new potion which I do and get sent back to Asgard only the quest doesn't seem to update because I've wandered all over Asgard and it never updates. It just says try the new potion. What am I doing wrong?

So I brought back the ingredients for Valka to brew a new potion to get to Jotunheim. I drink the potion fall asleep and I load into Asgard with no quest information on the quest page. Except for the "Going Deeper..." Quest that still says "Try the new potion"

I can't go any further than this. I'm stuck in Asgard with no quest line to follow in the Agard page in quests.

I've restarted the game, loaded up a previous time and tried to start again. I've also woken up and re-drank the potion to no avail.

@memnon53 You did nothing wrong except maybe trusting Ubisoft for yet another fully bugged game.

You just joined the ranks of several players stuck in Asgard. The only way out is to load a previous game. I'm hoping for you it's not too far away.
In my case it was 4 hours in game time since the stupid autosave system allows 5 slots but fills them in like 30 seconds. By the time you realize you're stuck, you got no save left previous to the bug and are stuck in a loop.
I uninstalled, cursing these people, to never buy anything of them ever again.

@bossmoose I don't know about that. There is an icon on the Asgard map that says 'wake up' in the top left. That's how I exited Asgard and I have some quests yet to do.

As for the opening question it may be a bug? I still have quests to do. Once I get them done and get the quest for the herbs for another drink I'll see.

As for myself and many others, the "Wake up" option is grey'd out, thus cannot be interacted with. Since I already did all the activities in Asgard during my first visit there is nothing that could eventually trigger anything in the script.

Yes it's obviously a bug... That's the problem.

My wake up is greyed out as well. I restarted a new game so all I have is a couple old manual saves that don't go back far enough. Oh well.

Oh God we have to go back there?

No weapon/armour rewards and my Eivor behaving like a nasty lady, its not my favourite area of the game. I hope its only a quick visit.

Obvious question but there should be 2 potions now, one for Asgard and the other for Jotunheim. Are you sure you're selecting the correct one? If so, could you provide a video of this issue?

Hello, PC user here!

I am now stuck (after 60+ hours of gametime) in Asgard.

With the "Going deeper" quest I had to drink a potion. I did it, but I wasn't teleported in Jotunheim, I was teleported in Asgard instead.
I thought I had to collect all the tears in order to progress, so I collected all of them but the final one. Still no progress, no quests, nothing.
So I thought there was some issues and I woke up.
I immediatly tried to drink the potion again, and I was still in Asgard, but without the wake up button, and I am now stuck there, with nothing to do.

Can you please update about this issue that a lot of people seems to have? I have 60+ hours played already and I am now unable to do anything.

@ubi-spud If it is the same situation of mine, there is also no "Wake Up" button on the map, so basically I (we?) are stuck in Asgard

I managed to solve the problem thanks to a fellow forum user.
For anyone having the same problem, the solution is easiest than it seems.
You can manually wake up by using the golden door immediatly on the right after the rainbow bridge.

@ubi-spud Same issue for me. I drank the wrong potion. I'm stuck in Asgard with no "Wake Up". My previous save is 3 hours earlier...

I got the same problem with PC. It is not possible to come to Jotunheim.

I completed the mission getting the herbs for the second dream. My settlement is at level 5 and I am at level 155. Every time i drink the second drink for the second dream it takes me to asgard instead of jotunheim. I have reloaded saves before the drink ,and restarted the ps4. When I am in asgard the second time it is saying to drink the second potion . So from what I am reading i have to redo the deeper quest?

Are you sure you grabbed the correct potion? There were 2 potions there, one for asgard and one for Jotunheim.

@ngurto me too. patch it and put the wake up option back in.
