Can’t upgrade gear (duplicate)

I’m finding that certain gear sets such as the Hunter set and the Yuletide set won’t allow me to upgrade them. Each time I upgrade, the item is duplicated and I lose all of my resources that I have put into them.

This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
