Unable to open game.

Game was working perfectly fine till the last update. Now I cannot open the game. It stays stuck loading, and even on the very rare occasion that the game does get passed the loading and goes into "Checking for game add-ons" it gets stuck there and I cannot continue. I've left it running for 20+ minutes and nothing. Very frustrating as this is my weekend gaming away form med school and I can't play this game with 43 hours in. I have tried checking but I cannot find information to help me. Anyone have this issue or know a solution?

The game also doesn't work on the XBOX ONE X.
The game crashes in the download box "Checking for add-ons" and takes 10 minutes.
During the 10 days I never once got in the game.

No unwanted result.
Offline or online, no change to the image is top black and the download gets stuck in "Checking for add-ons". -

Can you please confirm if you tried disconnecting your console from the internet? Additionally, can I kindly ask if you have a physical or a digital copy of your game?Official Response -

I own the digital pre-order version.
None of the above measures helped to correct the fault.
So I deleted the whole game and reloaded it all over.
Now the game started normally.
