Since Update 1.2.0.1 the Game crashes ramdomly to Desktop. Before this Update there was 1 Crash in 100 Hours. Today it crashed 5 Times in 2 Hours, no Error Message no Errors in Event Viewer. For now it´s not playable anymore.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I was having the same issues after the update until I tried 2 things. Ever since then, I've been playing for hours (even finishing raids) and not a single crash. Not sure which of the 2 did it, but it's simple and you're welcome to try.

    1) Disable V-sync (if you have it enabled)

    2) For the second option, I randomly found this on Google and decided to give it a try. Go to your Windows Date and Time and sync your time in the internet option. Apparently, some people were having crashes with this game due to it. Not sure why this would work, but I did it anyway.

    Hope it works for you.

@yosh2512 I'm sorry to hear about the constant crashing you were experiencing! I understand this can be both exhausting and disappointing to deal with, and I greatly apologize for the inconvenience. For starters, you can always try out @xtracker85 's suggestions! Afterward, you can try verifying the game's files in Ubisoft Connect. Doing so will replace any missing or corrupted game files that could potentially be causing problems. I generally recommend completing this process after patches are released, as it ensures everything required for the game was installed properly during the update. Next, try running Valhalla as an administrator to see if that allows you to play without experiencing crashes. Finally, it would be beneficial to complete the rest of our technical troubleshooting guide. If none of these suggestions make any improvements, do not hesitate to upload your MSinfo file in a case at support.ubi.com. From there, our technical support team would be able to continue looking into this and provide more specialized assistance for you.

@xtracker85, thank you so much for sharing this! I'm glad to hear that it was able to resolve the problem for you. 🙂
