I'm sorry to hear that you're still encountering trouble in "Abbot's Gambit." Thank you for taking the time to share your report with us within this thread.

Just to confirm, when you first pledged to Cent, did no quest marker pop up at all to guide you to where you needed to meet Basim?

Would you be able to send us a video that shows the following:

• Your current quest log, showing your current objective
• Your completed quest log, showing the last quests you completed
• Your map, showing that you have no quest marker
• That you are unable to interact with Basim at the beginning of the quest

We can the forward this video to the development team for further investigation.

To help us to take a closer look at this, would you be able to send us a video which shows the following:

• You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can view this information in the opening game menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
• That you are unable to progress in the quest as you're unable to collect the letter from the NPC.

We can then forward this to the development team for further investigation.

• You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can check this in the right-hand corner of the main menu.
• That you are unable to progress after speaking to the Bard, and that there is no quest marker or active objective in "An Abbot's Gambit."

We can then pass this report along to the development team for further investigation.

Have you been able to explore Dover Fortress in the meantime? Some players have reported that even without a quest objective, they were able to find the letter at Dover Fortress and progress further.

After not being able to talk to the bard (he just got away after I got him to the water) I was stuck, with no quest blurb and no mission to do. Knowing (!) that he would have told me to go to the Dover fortress to get a letter, I went there, killed everyone and one of the guys was carrying a letter that activated the history flow again. Clicking R3 will show the blue circles around that guy also (it worked for me...) Good luck

Hi everyone, I was massively stuck where the Bard would not speak to me, tried everything even uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I completed everything else in the game but kept coming back to the bard who was now on a farm, and he would not speak to me. So I did some research online and went where he tells you to go which is Dover fortress in the bottom right corner of the map and odin sighted until I found a green highlighted man in the middle of the fortress, he was raging about "kings orders" or something, killed him and completed the quest! So even though it was still telling me to speak to the bard, I skipped that and the quest completed.

Would you be able to see if you're able to find the letter at Dover Fortress?
