    For the second time in two weeks I did not get one of Reda's opal quests.

    What happened the first time is they both showed up, and I selected both before exiting the dialog, and I noticed I didn't get the "multiple quests accepted" message.

    Both times it's been a beast kill and a person kill quest, and I only see the quest marker/quest entry for the beast kill mission. Last time, I immediately reloaded, and the person kill showed back up at Reda, but selecting it again didn't give me a message I'd accepted a quest, create a quest marker, or add it to the quest log. Once I'd completed the beast kill quest, no amount of reloading would get Reda to give me another quest, so I just flat out missed out on 5 opals.

    This time I was in a hurry and I didn't notice if it had the same symptoms, beyond the fact that I selected both and only got 1 quest as far as the game was concerned. Again, once I completed the beast kill, Reda wouldn't give me another.

    Using version 1.2.0 on PC.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @caraamon I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced this issue.

    Can you confirm if this has happened since the latest hotfix update that was released on the 26th March? If so do you also receive any connectivity error messages when this happens?

    If the issue persists could you please provide a video.

    @ubi-keo Just happened today, so I grabbed a video of it. There are no error messages accompanying it.

    The video shows that I collected two quests, but only one showed up in my quest log.

    Reloading will remove the quests and Reda will let me pick them up again, but still one does not show up in my quest log.

    This is now the second day in a row an opal quest has vanished for me. I accept both, both are on the map, and when I complete one the second just disappears.
    EDIT: I should add that this is just the second day in a row that I've noticed lol.

    @ubi-keo

    Yes, this happened a few days ago and again yesterday and today.

    Here is the one from today, the Green Eyed Thief quest:

    I don't know if they've fixed this yet, but until it's announced they have I found that you can do both quests if you just accept one and complete them 1 at a time. It means you gotta stare at Reda's smug immortal face for a few seconds longer but worth getting the full amount of daily opal. 😛

    Thank you everyone for providing this additional information regarding these missing quests from Reda. I've shared these details and the video clips provided by @Caraamon and @cmhoughton (thank you both!) with our investigating teams.
