Hi friends
TLDR
Can tagging and wallhack vision be disabled in Valhalla?
FULL
I dont own this game yet but I am playing Odyssey at the moment and one feature I really hate is that it has in-game superpower vision like floating enemy tags and wall-hack x-ray vision.
This removes all the tension and fun when you're sneaking around an outpost or during combat when you not only see tags floating about but also white x-ray outlines through walls and rocks. It ruins immersion, takes away challenge and spoils the look of the excellent open world.
The HUD options are lacking, I wish we could have control over each HUD element. Having said that in Origins one of the HUD presets allowed you to play with HUD but without the tagging feature which was nice.
Other Ubi games like Far Cry series have a nice menu option - Enemy Tagging [on]-----[off]
I wish these AC games had the the same.
It would be nice to be able to have the HUD - but with the superpower vision modes turned off. An on-off setting will keep both kinds of gamer happy.
After completing Odyssey I will be looking at Valhalla and I hope it gives the option to turn off tagging and wall-hack?
Thanks for any info & thanks Ubi for these amazing open worlds.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@dv20katana this option is in game, I already turned this features off, because it is really more challenging and more fun

Thank you! This is really good to know, I'm happy now
I wish Odyssey had this feature.
@smrtiak-svk
Thanks! Is it the "Enemy Info" that controls the tagging & x-ray vision?
@dv20katana X-RAY vision is the Enemy Proximity how you can see in that photo. Enemy info is info about life and armour of enemies. Everything is separately what is an awesome
@smrtiak-svk
And theres a seperate ON-OFF for tagging or is that also controlled by Enemy Proximity?
@smrtiak-svk
Oh good! In Odyssey the tags and x-ray vision appear if I get spotted while sneaking around a camp (no need to use the bird even!). Really annoying
