    My monitor is 1600x 900 but I tried other resolutions to see if it corrected, but the bordes continued and also playing in window mode does not make a difference.

    Thanks for sharing your report about the black border you're encountering in-game, and for letting us know that you have tried other resolutions. Would you be able to let us know more about your system set-up?

    For instance, can you let us know more about the screen you use (make/model)? Is it a 4K-144hz monitor?

    Does the border happen in any other games, or just in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla?

    my monitor is from 2012, it is an LG model: E2060TT.
    it works only with 60hz
    my PC:
    intel core i5 7500 3.40 GHz
    8 Gb RAM 2133 MHz
    240 Gb SSD
    Nvidia 1070 8Gb ZOTAC

    I remember it happened at AC odyssey but then it was corrected but I don't remember if it was a patch or an outside program

    Thank you for providing me with that information about your system set-up, @DarkZimpel. I was curious to know if you were using a 4K-144hz monitor as the development team are investigating black borders appearing when these monitors are used.

    I would recommend opening a support ticket so our technical support teams can take a closer look at your system files. This will give them a better understanding of what might be causing the black borders to appear. You can open a support ticket in the following ways:


    When opening a support ticket, please can you attach a copy of your MSinfo and your DxDiag. Would you able to able to include this image that shows the borders in-game? It will help our team to investigate further.
