starting Game via Steam not working with Patch 1.2.0

Hi, i'm using Steam to be able to play the game with a Dualshock (PS4 Controller).
With the new Patch the game doesn't start anymore, loading screen than crash notice.
hope there will be a fix, because mouse and keyboard suxxXP -

Update: starting the game via steam works... but only when there is no controller connected, as soon as game should be started with dualshock connected, it crashes

works fine and game doesn't crash

Hey everyone, I have found that the issue regarding Assassin's Creed: Valhalla crashing is already being investigated by the team and something they would like to check is: If you instead disable the Xbox or PlayStation configuration in Steam and relaunch the game, does the crash still occur? Also, they wanted to check if this is the only title affected when playing from Steam?

Yes, it does still occur.

Yes, it is the only title.
I need to say I am deeply disappointed this issue was not adressed in patch 1.2.1. It should be very easy to reproduce since anyone with Steam Controller starting the game via Steam has the same issue. -
@dancingclown Thank you for the update and I am very sorry this has been an ongoing issue in just Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but please know that our team is still currently investigating this issue to provide a solution in a later patch. Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.
