Can someone detail the first A River to Raid quest?

I believe I'm stuck in a bug where I earn supplies one at a time and cannot earn the initial 200 supplies I've seen in videos, to build the joms Vikings hall. My ship only holds 1 foreign supply chest at a time and it will take an eternity to earn 100 supplies to build that hall, so I don't believe that's correct?
A step by step of all the events from the discussion with Vagn character to the building of the hall would be appreciated. -

why would any1 write time all the convesations between eivor and vahn?
There is nothings pecial there, the RR are super boring and not rewarding.

@asgardian02 I don't want the conversation, only what key events should happen so I can try to get past this glitch. I haven't let it rest because I can't progress and am trying to figure out why.
I couldn't find anything covering the initial mission on YouTube, I'll search again for it -
@turbosupragte I don't think you should ever have 1 foreign supply. Even at the beginning, I started with space for 100. It seems like a bug.

@lemmie88 thank you that's exactly it, my ship can only transport 1 foreign supply at a time, so I'd have to do 100 of those ti be able to build the joms Vikings hall.
